Saturn-transit over Natal Saturn

 

 

Ask someone who appears distressed, sickly, growing beard and living in loneliness that what was the matter with him? One may give a simple reply: Running through 7½ years period or 2½ yrs. period. Such is the disastrous reputation earned by Saturn. Saturn is concerned with the work in life. According to Hindu mythology, it has to carry out duty of Lord Shiva and is considered as the son of Sun. Also it is known as father of Gulika and Mandi. Saturn is a male planet. By nature it is considered as malefic endangering extirpating results in its various unfavourable major periods and transits. Saturn is acknowledged as first rate malefic in the horoscopes with Aries, Cancer, Sagittarius & Pisces Ascendants. Saturn may yield propitious results if it is placed in 3rd, 6th or 11th house, whereas the malefic effects of it get reduced if Saturn is placed in its exaltation sign, moola-trikona sign or own sign viz. Libra, Aquarius and Capricorn. Saturn in these signs pave the way for one to be a humanitarian, conscientious, philanthropist and reformer, albeit it may be posited in a malefic house i.e. not in 3rd, 6th or 11th house. Also it escalates ascetic qualities in the native, provided the benefic result of Venus is not found in the horoscope (As unfavourable Venus restricts the pleasure of luxuries and worldly affairs). In the transiting chart, the work-load is heavy during the period of retrograde Saturn. Unrest, in some or other form, emerges in the society, when it is stationary retrograde or stationary direct. In the personal chart also uncertainty or tension mounts in some form which may culminate in transfer or change of job. But it is desirable not to change job under a retrograde Saturn. The situation becomes even worse if Saturn is transiting through 4th, 8th or 12th house from the Moon in the personal chart.

The transit of Saturn over natal Saturn should turn out to be the most important period of one's life. Great changes may accrue to one and one will experience great impact of Saturn. The crystallized professional conditions are vanished and advent of a fateful and remarkable period is indicated by this transit. The native desires material successes and opts for recognition in society. The transit bestows staying power besides all sorts of odds and the native stabilizes his position and makes long range projects possible. The native involves himself in serious mathematical, scientific, business or political activity. A review of the past activities is sensibly carried to implement the future plans.

The transit occurs in individual horoscope after every twenty-nine years. During the first transit which takes place at 27 yrs. to 29 yrs., the individual assumes full-fledged responsibilities. The 2nd transit at 58 yrs. to 60 yrs. is marked by a high turning point in individual career.

I would like to preponderate the above mentioned facts by virtue of some examples related to the field of politics.

Chart-I belongs to the U P Chief Minister Mr. N D Tiwari born on 18-10-1925 with exalted Saturn in Libra. He became the C.M. of U.P. in 1976-77 and again from 3-8-1984 to September '85. The second transit of Saturn over natal Saturn, i.e. Libra in 1984 resulted in his reinstallation as C.M. and also that, under his leadership the party secured a thumping majority.

Chart-II belongs to Mr. Motilal Vora, Union Health Minister born on 20-12-1928 with Saturn in Scorpio. During the 2nd transit in Scorpio, in 1985 he was appointed as C.M. of M.P. and his tenure lasted till the transit of Saturn in Scorpio. With Saturn leaving the natal position and transiting through 10th house from Moon he was shifted to centre.

Chart-III belongs to Arjun Singh, C.M. of M.P. born on 5-11-1930 with Saturn in Sagittarius. The transit of Saturn through 8th house from Moon in 1985 created his stay away from M.P. As soon as Saturn came in Sagittarius in December 1987, the signs of his return dawned in the political horizon. However, Mars in 8th house from the Moon till 10th February '88 delayed the C.M.-ship. On 13th Feb. '88 he assumed as C.M. of M.P.

In both the cases Saturn was transiting through 9th house from the Moon (Chart-II and III). By conventional method and Nadi principles which are not considered to be favourable one. But the persons enjoyed the position due to staying power of Saturn in natal place.

Chart-IV belongs to R K Hegde, ex-C.M. of Karnataka, born in August 1926 with Saturn in Libra. Assumed the C.M.-ship of Karnataka during the 2nd transit of Saturn in Librain 1983. Enjoyed a good reputation during its transit through Libra and Scorpio which fall in 6th and 7th house from his Moon sign i.e. Taurus. The Transit of Saturn in Sagittarius i.e. 8th house brought in a wave of mounting dissatisfaction against his leadership, consequently generating the circumstances compelling him to resign.

The former American President Nixon and present Vice-President George Bush have Saturn in Taurus and Libra respectively in their horoscopes. And both these leaders attained and continued in the high offices during the 2nd transit of Saturn in Taurus and Libra.

In all these cases one point must always be kept in mind i.e. Saturn transiting natal position should not be 4th, 8th or 12th house from natal Moon. To achieve the desired beak-through, the horoscope should be ably supported by the transit of Jupiter, Mars, Sun and Rahu.

The transit of Saturn as observed adduces a great inspiration and fighting power in the native and when it is equally supported by transit of other planets the native accomplishes the long awaited success.

Dear Shri Lalit ji and Shantaram ji,

Iam just inclined to say few experiences of saturn transits in my life and this may be of some understanding to know the extent of transits play in any one's life.

If impact of dasa system is about 70% to understand evolution of life,the remaining 30% that comes out of Gochara/Transit is only God's blessings.To ravel this in Astrology it needs great effort and also blessings of Supreme Power

Recently say an year ago and eralier in 2004 I had experienced transit of Saturn over Natal saturn was experienced by me.

Ofcourse San is my rasi lord posited in my 7th(from moon sign) along with Sun and Venus in the tender sign of Karka owned by Moon.

All along I had been an officer of the Govt of India with recognition and got love and affection from one and all.in various parts of country

I remebr my posting to NTPC,Korba(M.P) and the assignment I was given on bais of merit and selection for developing the mega thermal power project.

Ofcourse moon n my 2nd house from lagna, never helped to make any fast buck in conditions ideal for making wealth.

ofcourse my younger days were sgnificantly of struggles and recognition in my student life and also in social life.

The rise was getting delayed and even led to fustation and the unexpected selction for a foriegn assignment was a rewrd that end of jupiter dasa in my life gave,whe saturn was transiting

Infact transit of saturn over natal saturn depends on the sign in which your natal saturn s located.In a way odd signs like simha bring about more challenges and one has to be more careful.

But Saturn in 8th house in natal chart transited by saturn one finds shocking escapes from unexpected incidents in which one could have almost lost his life.

From 2003-4 I had:

But then the wave of same kind of affection/ popularity continued to be my asset till now.Infact his has given me a kind of disappointment too.It is because that If I have to have any recognition of my own it comes only through my effort and my interactions with others.

From lagna saturn,in my natal chart is in 8th house.

 

2.During this period I was successful(satrun transit to cancer and leo in 2006-07) in All India Selection process to resume responsibilities in premiere women dominated and sensitive orgnaisation near to Rajasthan ,Jaipur

..As I was stabilising there,had opportunity to shift to work with a most renowned trust and with major financial responsibilities involving frequent ineractions with His Excellency and Governor of the State as the Head of the Trust in a sensitive state in north of India close to Himalayan ranges.

The professional conditions I managed in a premiere Institute like Indian Institute of Technology,Delhi for long time and the present conditions after"ashtama sani" also remained the same.

Ofcourse with this kind of sensitivities,some times I only feel,that working with zeal and endurance all through life is not an easy task.So changes that saturn transits bring vary and can not be generalised as:The crystallized professional conditions are vanished and advent of a fateful and remarkable period is indicated by this transit".

The desire aspect of life during the dasa of Saturn is to settle down away from clamour and to carry out something useful for self and for younger lot.So the issue of material success is also not probably correct as my jupiter in 11th as lagna lord never gave me an opportunity except to bring up my family on my own hard work and earnings.This also probably can not be inferred on holistic basis:"

These transits no doubt has bearings in the unfoldings of life.Then not something different from what you are destined to as per your natal configurations.

Life has always been a great pleasure as long as you give some thing to the society in which you are part than to seek any rewards.

Any reward you get n life is the hard work and preservance of your life.This struggle if to be taken as Karma to do in karma bhoomi that can be the happiest thing in life

Association of sun with mars may in 6th leads to career problems with bosses getting involved.

6th as such is also 9th from 10th.In my case,it is Rahu in exaltation with mars that brought about shocks and then some imbalance and finally jupiter's aspect on 10th to 10th was always a guiding factors.The turmoils in transit are taken care.

Even now the global upheavels whether in explosions in Pakistan,or financial crisis in US or issues in China.

For that matter targets over subcontinenet are all part irrespective of position of natal saturn.Enough that saturn in fiery sign of increases negative energy leading to violence in mundane affairs,coming through lower minds due to inequalities between kings and those ruled

Sir,

Thanx for sharing the life's experience thereby educating us, this is the best way to shed light in understanding the planetary implications, I m facing lots of conspiracies in my own work, Mine is a Pisces Lagna with Sun+ Mars in 6'th and Guru in 10'th, Rasi is in scorpio. Since when Saturn started it's transit on Leo, My immediate bosses started turning hostile, That i never bothered coz my prformance and output was visibly better, but, what i find is they are making their best to hide my visibility in a systematic manner, though i m known in the organization, there is enough happened to overshadow my contribution. I do not know whither to it will proceed. My Ketu - Merc dasha is likely to begin and Ketu is conjunct with Mercury in 5'th house aspected by Saturn from 3rd house, so, mercury has saturnine influence,

however, in Merc - Ketu, dasha I was a topper in my state.
