Dear Lalit,

 

Rahu alone in the 9th without taking into consideration the rasi or aspects, giving religious bent of mind is not something that I have seen in any classics.

 

I remember that Bhrigu sutra says that Rahu in 9th makes one childless, intimate with low caste women, irreligious and will depend on others for his livelihood.

 

Phala deepika opines that Rahu in the 9th will make the native speak with bitterness, and will not perform any charitable work yet be leader of a village.

 

Garga says that with Rahu in 9th one dies at 16 years of age.

 

Sanket Nidhi says that Rahu in 9th gives bad nails and suffer from pains in bones.

 

Perhaps you are better informed.

Sir,Rahu's conjunction is supposed to be of perverting nature, I gave Tilak example in same 9'th bhava, where Rahu is along with Guru,chandra, Same Rahu is in 9'th is present in Dr. SampoornaNanda, the former CM of UP, and a well known sanskrit scholar, It was predicted by Keenaram, the aghora tradition's founder to one of his forefather's that in the 4'th (if i remember rightly) generation of family there will be a son who will once become head of the state, same is Khusheva, the former president of Rusia, he also had Rahu in 9'th.It's not a matter of somebody's chart but matter of asrology's basic principles, Rahu in 9'th makes a person interested in carrying out religious ritualistic activities and also makes him responsible for duties.The basic trait of Rahu in 9'th is one will do his best to fullfill his duties. The view is supported by most of the classics and found in real life.regards,Lalit.
