Guest guest
Navamsa /Nakshathra Pada concepts 9.Uniform principle underlying definition of Vargamshas. A Vargamsha through subtle channels routes back to its parent Rashi tattwa. This is like one single body , with nine planets/shades/desires and nine pranas moving in zig zag manner across 108 amshas. Thus they can only occuppy 9 among the 108 at a point in time. This is like the Dance of Shiva where your attention/concentration varies according to your posture/steps. However these individual finer shades can be rooted back to the gross tattwa called Rashi. Nakshathras assigned with planetary lordships are again the same principle. Gross is the manifestation, like the Karmendriya. An evolution from the Beeja, whether its a seed or beeja of a mantra, it takes shape in the form of words, shabda, varnas. Thus gross is the canvas or projective plane without which comparison or relative study (relative accumulation and exhaustion of karmas) and measurement of cause and effect, becomes impossible. This is the very reason HE himself creates Maya and constantly engages in the process of Time/Space and evolution/Cycle. 10.Circle is the symbol of WHOLE. Circle is the symbol of continuity. It is a Wheel of Time. Rythm is cyclical.Srishti/Sthithi/Samharam is cyclical. External Soorya Padha and Internal Prana Padha are cyclical. Thus with 9 padas or steps based on stellar benchmarking Mahamunis were able to understand the principle of creation and evolution.Time Principle.Mathematically this comes to 30 degrees - 9 padas/navamshas. Aaditya is thus making 12 such rounds over 9 padas by the time HE makes one round along the said circle. 11.Rashi the gross principle is the canvas or aadhara or basis. It is the result of evolution or expansion from that state of stillness(No differentiation -Prana/Mana).It is the manifestation of thought process/desire of the root beeja.Taking shape.Once the exapansion begins the prana becomes a mere follower of the mana. This goes on until the quest begins. Guest guest
Lalit, Metaphysical parallelism too often lands discussions in a garbled limbo, particularly when it is not well thought-out. Few have manged to do this satisfactorily as the authors of Light on Life. They have gone into such mathematical symbolism only when they can hold it till a cogent conclusion is attained in dealing with the topic at hand, not while casting about for nebulous raionale-finding. Even then the two authors, Defouw and Svobada, don't always go very far in making any mark in originality. It's good to mount metaphysics, better to alight on terra firma. Crisp use of the tools of analysis (and of course some theorisation) makes our endeavour surer.
