Venus is functional malefic for Taurus Ascendant…

Respected Members,

 

For Taurus ascendant, Venus is the ascendant lord as well as the 6th lord.

BPHS indicates this Venus to be a functional malefic.

 

---According to me this is somewhat a logical statement- because the Mooltrikon

sign of Venus (Libra) occupies the 6th house, so the 6th house would have

dominance over the ascendant.

 

*** My query--- Could we expect from the ascendant lord to be a ‘malefic

planet’???

This is a big question for us…

Dear Saurabh,

 

There is a tendency among astrologers to ignore 2nd lordship of a planet if it's

a lagna lord also, however, i have seen, 2nd lordship's effect definitely appear

in life, however, native is able to manage and overcome.
