Ascendant Lord as 8th Lord…

Respected Members,

 

A group of astrologers believes that the ascendant lord does not suffer from the

‘Ashtamesh dosh’ (eg, Venus in the Libra ascendant).

But I didn’t find any standard reference in which this theory is given (BPHS,

Bhavarth Ratnakar etc).

However, Dr. Narayan Dutt Shreemali referred the same concept in his book.

 

If you have found this theory in some other references, please let me know.

 

--- I have some doubt regarding the mentioned concept/theory, whether this is a

well known Vedic astrological concept or just generated by modern astrologers.

 

Please rectify my doubt.
