Confusions in Bhakti and Sadhana !!

Posting an interaction with a scholarly person, He is a Doctor (MD) retired from

his govt job some 6-7 yrs back and have good knowledge of sanskrit, remembers

most of geeta and few other classics, Pls read and n'joy -

 

1. What Amit (His son wants to do now)

Ans : He has topped in MD entrance, so, all the aveneues are open for him, he

wants to take Gyneacology, i want him gong for Radiology.

2. Why ?

Ans : Just put ur hands on machine, take a xray or sonography, and get rs. 500/-

to 700/- in just couple of minutes, and there is no risk.

3. How's ur hospital running ?

Ans : You know at this age i m looking for divine peace, not interested in

hospital, see, there are hundreds of thousands doctors in country, who remembers

them once stepped out of hospital. It's just like another profession, my passion

is over.

 

4. how u discover divine peace.

Ans : I know Geeta, give speeches on it, have made a CD on it, even foreigners

do call me, i have 2 -3 requests pending to visit USA.

 

5. what u like most in Geeta ?

Ans : karma yoga and bhakti yoga.

 

And a nurse comes, ask time for his round is slipping, he wants to speak more on

his knowledge of geeta, he ignores nurse's requests says he w'd be coming in

some 15 minutes.

 

he continues - Geeta is marvellous, It's pious, This is directly emitted from

God's mouth in a war front, then he recites some verses to expain what's bhakti,

gyan and karma yoga.

 

he continues - other then divinity what's in life, because of Jeevan Sarshan

(vision of life), I availed so much in life, I had a friend when i was in

Bhopal, she was a finalists of Miss India contest as well as a good doctor too,

she was so beautiful those days, even today she looks young. insists me to stay

at her home whenever I visit bhopal.

 

had i not been in spirituality, this recognition i could not have availed, and u

know, foreigners love my CD's

They like to hear shlokas in sanskrit, and u have seen how good i m in

sanskrit, this is true life, ghumo firo , no chinta !!

 

And krishna has said - YogaKscheema Vahamyam !!

 

And if u grow old, your children gets their servant in form of their

parents for free, I m fed up with this life.

 

Now, he starts reciting some sanskrit bhajan ..... i w'd stay in US for

2 -3 months, they will manage everything.

 

I smiled...... !!

 

He said further - only thing u need is to wear safron there, even that's

not an issue, so, both happens, you see the world, you spread knowldege

and serve dharma, and u need not spend money .....

 

I asked - upon ur return, where u will stay, as rewa is not so advanced

?

 

I w'd like to settle in Bhopal, You know if any body who belongs to Rewa

meets there, he w'd speak with so much love in voice, like he is ur

brother. Last month, my son went to a daily needs shop near railway

station, owner was from rewa, he offered him huge discounts, my son told

this incident to me, you know these guys are very clever, he knows that

my son is a doctor, so, he w'd also get special care in the return,

sample medicines and all, that's why he tried to make a relationship..

 

I was surprised, Next, he says ... But rewa is also not bad...

 

I said - Sir, You are so knowledgable, why dont u work for changing

people's mindset .. he delighted, he said, i m doing it naa, I m doing

it in USA, next trip is for Germany, you know they also know sanskrit.

 

I asked - any plans for Rewa ?

 

He said - nobody can do anything here, everybody is clever here, nobody

likes to discuss divine subjects, they pandits hardly open Geeta at

their home, You know, everybody should read Geeta !!
