Guest guest
Group, Wished to share wth u that in Varanasi, taken as city of arthodox astrologers had welcomed fresh discoveries and they were open for corrections in their approach. I got an article written in 1974 in which author, who was editor of famous CHINTAHARAN JANTRI, emphasizes need to cross check (Graha Spashta) or planetary positions wth that of observatories, he also suggests that panchan makers shud not use mean nodes in panchangs, wth mathmatical calculations he gives cases where actual nodes (true) falls in a different house than the house of mean nodes, he proves that node's accepted speed of 19.3 degree@year is incorrect, it's a mean of true speed. He doesnt accept Raphael's Ephemeris instead recomends Nautical Almanacs. He also warns that Nodes are not always retro in motion bt during Eclipse they are stationary and may be diractional and High speed (ati chari) for small amount of time. Earlier, same concern was expressed by Late Sri Seetaram Jha, who collected and collated verses of today's BPHS. both discourage use of Goladhyay and Graha Laghav's formulae, as they do much approximation in calculations. For the study of market's transaction they suggests cönsideration of SHAR PARIVARTAN, i didnt fully grapsed it's concept. Regards, Lalit.
