Guest guest
Richard Houck was a computer security specialist, manager of computer security for Intelsat, Arthur Andersen, Comsat and Geico. He was a former president of the Electronic Data Processing Auditors Association of Washington. During the time he was working in computers, he amassed a library of more than 600 books on astrology and began studying the foundations of Vedic astrology, in addition to Western astrology. He came to Vedic astrology after dissatisfaction with traditional western methods. His practice emphasized economic & political forecasting. In particular were his Presidential forecasts. He would typically name the next President one year in advance of the inauguration, at a time when the nominees were far from decided. He so declared George W. Bush President of the United States, commenting in advance of the election that Bush's victory was the strangest win pattern he had ever seen. In the short time he was with us, Houck organized Vedic conferences & published some four books. Three of them are shown below. The fourth, Special Sidereal Ephemeris, is out of print The Post notes that in 1992, after 15 years of study, he decided to make his avocation a full-time job and left his career as a computer security specialist to practice and write about astrology full time. In 1994, he published his groundbreaking book - The Astrology of Death, which was highly applauded and very well received.BIRTH AND DEATH DATA: Lois Rodden received the following information from him in a letter in April, 1993, Rated A, from his memory.
