Dear Saurabh,

 

You have done a great service to India by producing link to Swami Ji's

Chicago's speech, I tried to find recordings of his speech in 2006 but

didn't succeed, last information that I had was in personal collection

of Khetari's rulers it's available, I planned to go there, hardly some

200 kms from delhi but couldn't as this has to be done by you.

Dear Sir,I have serious concerns over this tape. As I saw this tape one year ago in YouTube and than enquired whether it is of Vivekanand or not. Somehow I managed to approach the guy who has uploaded the same and in end I came to know that this is not his original speech(voice). From few of the other documents I also came to know that there was no facility available at the time of Swami ji's speech in Chicago. In 1893 there was recording facility available, Being a sanyasi Swami Ji was not

very concernd about his lecture and that time Sri Ramkrishna Mission was not in

true existence, some of swamiji's admirer recorded his speech and somehow that

reached in possession of khetari's then king who sponsored swami ji's trip to

chicago, these days kings family lives abroad, therefore, i couldn't get a copy

of recording, ramkrishna mission has grown as a ngo instead of growing an

spiritual mission, they have only one active sadhana kendra near pachmarhi (MP)

where very few monks do spiritual sadhana, rest crowd is limited to reading

upnishads, brahmsutra, advaita darshan etc, this sort of bookish knowledge has

no meaning unless real enlightenment is achievement practically.

 

Once i met a sadhak of pachmarhi and asked why they dont do sadhana but do book

readings, how they wd be able to guide people this way, he said, mission is

directed to service to people, I cautiond him that with this approach mission

may not be very successeful.

 

I hope youtube's voice is voice of swamiji, as, i notice echo of spiritual

waves, in up and down of rithem.

Dear Mishra,

 

Nice collection, Mr. Mishra, in my journey of spiritualism,being 47 years batcheller, I wonder,by experiencing such deterioation of high moral of such saints and developed a deep interest to going through it.Finally I found, not only in areas of RK mission, but also it extended upto Mharshi Mahesh Yogi's higher dignity of spiritualism and knowledge has been handed over to Dr John Haglien, who is not just even .001% of Mharshi, and then you come down to Raman Maharshi to Ravishankar. Do you think material cover can drive the longway of such pure spirituality.Where these saints gone wrong, are they failed to purify these immediate co-workers,which led the entire enriched spirituality gathered by them by spending their precious time and attaining godly bless, down to the well of destruction by just converting them to exploited through material encoverement?
