Guest guest
Kulbir Ji, When I visited Mr Deepak Bisaria, an editor of JOA, he told that one Pt Haveli Ram of New Delhi had a copy of Arun Samhita (supposed to be written by Sun), some other person told that Lal Kitab is a derivation of Arun Samhita. W'd like to know what's your opinion on it, Is it true ? regards, Lalit Mishra
Guest guest
Sir, IT IS TOTALLY FALSE;- Lal kitab was written by Pt. Rup Chand Joshi Ji, January, 1898- 24th December 1982, born in the home of Shri Jyoti Ram Joshi Ji, resident of village Pharwala, Tehsil Noormahal, District Julundhar, Punjab. Lalkitab consists of 5 books as follows; 1.Samudrik Ki Lalkitab Ke Farmaan in 1939 AD. 2. Samudrik Ki Lalkitab Ke Armaan 1940. 3. Lalkitab Teesra Hissa in 1941. 4. Lalkitab Tarmeemshuda published in 1942. 5. Ilm-e Samudrik ki buniyad par jyotish ki lalkitab in1952. The books featured the name of Pt Rup Chand Joshi’s cousin (son of his parental uncle) Pt. Girdahari Lal sharma as the publisher and Pt Atma Ram Sharma, resident of village Rahan, Tehsil Noorpur, District Kangra as the calligrapher.Name of author was not mentioned in any edition. These books were printed in URDU in a small number and distributed at no profit no loss basis.By the Change of government, URDU script lost its popularity. Some unscrupulous /rogues got these translated into HINDI script and published and spread such rumors. Some mistakes crept in these translations inadvertently but some seem to be deliberate to bring the publication under copyright act. Many translations are there in the Market but the 4. books by PT. Beni Madhav Goswami are exact transcripts, care has been taken that page line and word number matches the original. Only the script has been changed from Urdu to Hindi. 1941 edition's exact transliteration or transcript has been already put on net by Yograj prabhakar ji for free download. RegardsKulbir Bains. Guest guest
Dear Mishra ji Sadar Pranams! I know this question is not intended for me and neither am I any authority on the subject but whatever little I know about this I would like to say it here with deep respect and apology if in anycase my knowledge is not correct. From what I know, Pt Haveli Ram had a part of Original Bhrigu Samhita. His two sons divided the pages, whatever Pt ji had and their houses still stand at Raja Garden crossing, New Delhi. The maximum part of whatever is left of Bhrigu Samhita is in Hoshiarpur in Punjab. If any of this information is not correct, Please feel free to correct it. Guest guest
Dear Lalit ji From what i know, Pt Haveli Ram ji is no longer living. His 2 sons have divided the texts and they have also divided his house. Both the houses are adjacent to each other. I don't know the exact address in terms of house numbers or anything but if we are coming from Dhaula Kuan side towards raja garden on ring road, don't take the raja garden flyover and you'll see big boards on left hand side before reaching the crossing. I've seen the houses myself as I've traveled a lot in that area. Please feel free to let me know if I can be of any further help. May I also request if it would be possible for you to post the scanned copy of the text you have for studying by Learnened members and students.
