Guest guest
Dear friends, In the Systems' Approach to mundane astrology airline travel is primarily indicated by VENUS, the planet of pleasure and luxuries. In the SAMVA USA chart, Venus as 4th lord is placed in the 6th house. Among the mundane indications of the sixth house are "financial solvency, litigations and labour relations." Hence, airline travel in the USA while luxurious would be beset with problems having to do with financial solvency and labour relations. Indeed, the history of US airline industry is heavily characterized by stormy relations between airline companies and the pilots unions. There are other indications to consider, such as the third house, which rules "the means of communications in the country including transport” and the seventh house, which rules "pleasure and amusement resorts, tourism." In the SAMVA USA chart, MERCURY is the third lord and it is well placed and reasonably strong in Capricorn and the 7th house. Hence, the transport system in the USA should be reasonably strong and geared to leisure travel. During the present Venus-Jupiter period, we can note that during the year 2008, JUPITER, as 6th lord in the chart, becomes conjunct the natal Venus three times, in mid March, early July and early November. This suggests the financial solvency and labour relations will become quite tense for the airlines. Indeed, as the following news stories bear out, the situation in the first part of this year has been so grim that some airlines have gone out of business while others have been forced to merge. During the early months of the year transit VENUS passed through the 6th and 8th houses of the chart, adding to the strain. This is yet more proof of the veracity of the SAMVA USA chart. We can follow the fortunes of the US Airline Industry later this year, when the aspect of Jupiter to natal Venus again becomes close.
