Dear Ajay,

Indeed, the autumn months look like a very exciting time in terms of the SAMVA USA chart. The transits then will be very difficult.

Afflictions to the Sun surely undermine its strength and the strength of planets disposited by it. In particular, transit 2nd lord Sun at 17°-18° Leo in 2nd house in early September will

a) become conjunct transit 8th lord Saturn, and

b) along with Saturn come under the aspect of natal Rahu in the 10th house and

c) along with transit Saturn come under the aspect of transit 6th lord Jupiter in the 6th house, which is also under afflicting aspect from natal Rahu

At that time, transit Rahu will also be conjunct (with slight orb) the natal Sun in the 7th house, where transit Rahu will also be receiving the aspect of natal Saturn in the 5th house and where natal Saturn is receiving the aspect of transit Ketu in the 1st house.

Such all round affliction is likely to harm the indications of the planets involved.

In the days indicated by you, transit Sun will further be afflicted by natal Saturn in the 5th house.

This time will therefore be a very interesting with likely repercussions for the financial markets.

Dear Ajay,

We must be careful to note the situation comprehensively before drawing conclusions. With regard to the Sun, it is 2nd lord and strong by natal placement in the 7th house. While transiting Leo and 2nd house it will also be quite strong - due being in own sign and also being in a Sun-Like-House. It would therefore be expected to withstand quite well the multiple transit afflictions. Moreover, as it is a fast moving body, its weakening is relevant within 1° orb while caught up in these massive afflictions in the 17°-18° Leo.

To predict for the stock market at this time, it is also needed to consider all the other placements and afflictions in a like manner. Feel free to do that. It will deepen your understanding of the chart, which would be a good investment by you, as you are interested in mundane predictions.

Afflictions to the Sun surely undermine its strength and the strength of planets disposited by it. In particular, transit 2nd lord Sun at 17°-18° Leo in 2nd house in early September will

a) become conjunct transit 8th lord Saturn, and

b) along with Saturn come under the aspect of natal Rahu in the 10th house and
