As it turns out, the quake occurred on May 29, 2008, when also - transit 1st lord Mercury in the 9th house was afflicted by transit Rahu in the 5th house and - transit 6th lord Saturn on the 12th house MEP was afflicting the 9th house, where natal 1st lord Mercury resides.
