Dear friends,

With transit 6th lord Jupiter at 27° 01' Sagittarius and 6th house in applying conjunction with natal 4th lord Venus at 23° 51' Sagittarius, as well as transit Ketu at 26° 36' Cancer and 1st house exactly afflicting natal 8th lord Saturn at 26° 46' Scorpio and 5th house, instances of extreme bad weather have recently been reported in the media:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7433079.stm

However, instances of extreme bad weather are predicted to increase as transit Venus passes through 26° 46' Taurus on June 10 and becomes exactly afflicted by natal Saturn. The influence is already active, with transit Venus now at 23° 50'.

Venus enters Gemini and the 12th house on June 13, where it also remains weak. On June 26-29 it will be under the exact aspect of natal Ketu at 17° 47' Libra and 4th house. At that time, the conjunction aspect of transit Jupiter and natal Venus will also be close to 1° orb. The weather could become very bad. There could also be earthquakes around that time as earlier predicted.

Best wishes,

Thor

Hello dear list members,

We didn't have to wait long to get confirmation of the prediction that "instances of extreme bad weather are predicted to increase" in the USA.

Today, 8th lord Saturn is afflicting also transit 1st lord Moon. However, it is the affliction of transit 4th lord Venus by natal Saturn and transit Rahu, which becomes exact in the coming day or two which should see the peak of the extreme weather. Other planets are caught up in the afflictions as well, adding to the strain.

Dear list members,

The exteme weather in recent days has resulted in flooding and additional deaths from excessive heat.

Mississippi River floods could be worst in 15 years

June 11, 2008 - CNN

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- Rising rivers wiped out an Iowa railroad bridge Tuesday, flooded Illinois farmland and forced residents along the Mississippi River to prepare for what could be the worst flooding in 15 years. In Cedar Falls, Iowa, officials were readying residents and downtown business owners to evacuate as the Cedar River threatened to spill over a levee. The river was expected to top the levee early Wednesday, prompting a mandatory evacuation of downtown, Mayor Jon Crews said. "I've been downtown for 37 years and I have never seen anything like this," said Steve Schomaker, a partner in a local insurance company. http://edition.cnn.com/2008/US/weather/06/10/severe.weather.ap/index.html

Sandbagged levee holds in Iowa, protects city

"This is major flooding," weather service hydrologist Karl Sieczynski said of the Mississippi. He urged people in unprotected flood plain areas to seek higher ground. Elsewhere, thunderstorms brought relief to parts of the East Coast that have been baking in a heat wave for four days. Temperatures in the upper 90s on Tuesday stretched from Georgia all the way to northern New England, where the weather service reported an afternoon high of 99 at Portsmouth, N.H.

The storms also knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses. About 103,000 customers in New Jersey, 110,000 in southeastern Pennsylvania, 50,000 in upstate New York and 20,000 in Connecticut remained without electricity early Wednesday. Philadelphia officials blamed the deaths of two women on the heat wave.

My dear ,

Thank you for the insight. Indeed, the strains are quite visible at micro and macro level.

In the 9° 30' Virgo rising chart for Iceland, with Saturn-Mercury period operating, the financial market has again come under significant pressure. This is consistent with the prediction for the week ending June 22, 2008:

VIRGOPredictions for the current week. at www.YourNetAstrologer.com

Things are looking up. Some amount of anxiety is seen. Avoid speculative or high risk ventures. Time is particularly difficult for those with 9th or 26th degree rising in the ascendant. Divine help is seen.

Best wishes,

Thor

Things are looking up. Some amount of anxiety is seen. Avoid speculative or high risk ventures. Time is particularly difficult for those with 9th or 26th degree rising in the ascendant. Divine help is seen.

Best wishes,

Thor
