Some lessons from rectification work

Dear friend,

An important lesson that I want to share based on my rectification work, to identify the authentic chart for a country, is the importance of doing the requisite historical research to be able to credibly examine the astrological dynamics over time in the context of the natal potential.

The SAMVA USA chart is an excellent example due to the abundance of historical information since the legal founding of the "Union" in 1781.

While the chart shows the many tremendous potentials of the country, resulting it becoming a major power in the world, it also has placements that indicate temporary setbacks and stiff challenges notably related to 4th house matters.

As per :

- The fourth house rules "the nation's natural resources, agriculture, mines, minerals, landed properties, peace, general and political stability, natural calamities, educational institutions, law and order, housing and communal harmony."

Insight: THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST DYNAMIC and IMPORTANT OF THE HOUSES.

- As the sign Libra falls in the 4th house, the MT sign of Venus, it becomes the 4th lord. Venus is the indicator of "Resources, hotels, women folk, cinema industry, arts and leisure industry."

Insight: THIS IS THE MOST PROMINENT WEAKNESS IN THE CHART, MAKING THE AFFECTED INDICATIONS VULNERABLE TO SETBACKS.

- The 4th house is afflicted by Ketu and Rahu and Rahu also afflicts the 6th house where Venus is placed. Ketu indicates "Natural calamities, violent (actions or events)" while Rahu indicates "Diplomatic moves, manipulations and deceit."

Insight: THE AFFLICTION OF THESE FMs IS THE SOURCE OF SETBACKS TO THE INDICATIONS OF THE 4TH HOUSE and of VENUS.

- Venus is placed in the 6th house which rules "public amity, relations with neighbors, general health of the public, political stability, financial solvency of the nation, litigations, judicial functioning, communal harmony in the country and labour relations."

Insight: THIS PLACEMENT SUBJECTS THE PEOPLE TO UPSETS DUE TO INVOLVEMENT IN CONFLICT. IT ALSO INVOLVES THE INDICATIONS OF VENUS and THE 4th HOUSE IN FINANCIAL STABILITY PROBLEMS.

- The dispositor of Venus, is 6th lord Jupiter. It rules "Diplomatic attaches, advisors to head of state, teachers, judiciary and banking systems." Moreover, Jupiter is well placed in the 5th house of ""intellectuals, emotional stability, communal harmony, speculative nature of the people, investments, stock exchange, children, population, universities, morals and values of the people." Moreover, it is favourably aspected by the 1st lord Moon and widely conjunct 10th lord Mars.

Insight: THE FAVOURABLE SITUATION OF JUPITER IS SUPPORTIVE OF VENUS.

Major historical events are seen clearly through the SAMVA USA chart, not only at critical moments, but over long periods, such as the 4 year Civil War from 1861 to 1865.

If we look at the historical evolution of the American Civil War, see that South Carolina became the first state to secede from the Union on December 20, 1860, when the MERCURY-MARS period was operating. While the period was of a strong planet, the transits were difficult. At that time, transit 8th lord SATURN in the 2nd house was stationary at 17° Leo exactly afflicting natal KETU in the 4th house. Saturn was also conjunct the 2nd house MEP and afflicting the 4th house. When the attack on Fort Sumter took place in the early morning of April 12, 1861,

which is considered the start of the Civil War, transit Jupiter was stationary at 25° Cancer and 1st house, where it exactly afflicted natal SATURN in the 5th house, transit VENUS in the 9th house and closely afflicted natal 2nd lord SUN in the 7th house. Meanwhile, transit RAHU was closely afflicting natal VENUS in the 6th house. During the summer of 1861, when the war intensified, the nodes were stationary conjunct the Most Effective Points of the 6th and 12th houses of war and losses, respectively. From October 1861 to April 1864, when the major battles were fought, resulting in the significant losses, the RAHU sub-period was operating in the "UNION" chart. Finally, the JUPITER period was operating when the war was brought to a close and the Union won, symbolically on April 9, 1865, with the surrender by General Robert E. Lee of the North Virginia Confederate Army to Lt. General Ulysses Grant of the Union

forces, which was followed by a collapse of the military effort by the Confederate States of America by April 11 and the control of the USA over the renegade territories. Even then, the aspects were quite difficult, signifying the ravages of four years of civil war and also the assassination of Abraham Lincoln with a few days, on April 14, 1865.
