Guest guest
Hello dear Sankara, I add my replies to your questions in your message appended below. Best wishes. - Sankara SAMVA Thursday, August 07, 2008 12:57 PM Further Qs: Strength of planets Dear Vyasji, Namasthe. Thanks for this very useful SA Table of Strengths. Here are a few Qs however: Q1: What does SLH/L mean and DH mean? SLH/L MEANS SUN LIKE HOUSE OR THE SIGN LEO. Q2: As placement in a malefic H["bad-placement"]reduces the strength of a badly-placed planet only to the extent of 50%, does it mean then that all afflicted planets, when "otherwise strong" are only 50% weakened? [i ask this Q, as the Professor has said that bad-placement is itself tantamount to an affliction.] YES. Q3: The degree of weakenning must depend on the severity of the affliction, the planet suffers. For example, what would be the difference in the degree of weakness, when a planet is afflicted by just one FM, as against, when it is afflicted by the MMP[or by both Nodes, for that matter]? IN THE CASE OF MULTIPLE AFFLICTIONS THE DANGER OF HARM IS MUCH MORE. Q4: Sometimes in Professor's books, I have come across afflictions of very grievous kinds-such as afflictions by three or four FMs.What would be the % loss of strength[degree of weakness], in such cases of severe multiple afflictions? DEGREE OF WEAKNESS MAY BE 75% WITH VULNERABILITY TO HARM QUITE HIGHT. I am also left wondering what 's final verdict on these Qs will be? HOPE THE ABOVE REPLIES HELP YOU.
