Indeed, the SAMVA USA chart (Perpetual Union) has been tested for two

years with predictions related to major astrological events. These

predictions have turned out accurate. Moreover, as the knowledge or

insight into natal placements has been growing over time, it is

Thank you for sharing your views and experiences.

It is an open theoretical matter if only one or many charts work for the same entity. The only thing we can do is to work with methods that are consistent and make predictions. If many methods and charts work in this way, then your point is valid. Let me just mention that it is the considered oppinion of our astrology teacher, , that only one chart can be the true birth chart for any entity, individual or collective. My experience agrees with his judgement.

As for the proper times for the SAMVA USA chart, it has been further rectified in late 2007 such that the ascending degree is 20° 00' Cancer with a time of 16:58:33 and the place of Philadelphia.

The SAMVA USA chart

My personal opinion is that a birth of a country is not a particular moment of time rather a process consisting of many different periods. It is old well-known problem when a lot of astrologers have different opinions as to the chart of USA. In India I met jyotish gurus who had completely different ideas regarding the USA chart, but at the same time they provide me with very accurate predictions… Anyway, I will try to investigate SAMVA chart more deeply. This

chart shows that another serious wave of the financial/banking crisis may be still expected in November and I do agree that these weeks are overstrung also. It will be also interesting to see the dates when the nodes reach 23-45 and 20-59 accordingly (as far as I understand you prefer to use the time 17:05 in the SAMVA chart). Yes, you are right, but you forget that time itself is not a straight

line rather an everlasting spiral. So, from that point of view, there

are many points that can be successfully used for prognostication

purposes. And every point has its own aspects (political, economical

etc.) and unique characteristics.

Namaste Vyas,

Well, all these points are not so simple and as you know there are

different astrological systems which use different approaches to time

calculations. Actually, I wouldn't like to proceed further with this very

complicated theoretical topic because we will not find an unambiguous

answer here. From my personal experience and from my numerous discussions

with Indian and Chinese astrologers I came to the conclusion that any

birth cannot be fully described by a single chart because we have many

" time waves " emanating from the first moment of every new appearance. Any

chart is a rough mean approximation only and our purpose is to find the

best one to succeed in such and such investigations. Real life cannot be

reduced to any simple chart and therefore anyone (without clairvoyance)

will not be able to know, for instance, what events will happen in the

USA tomorrow. Any chart and its dynamics is more like a rough schedule…

When it comes to karma and its classifications we look like parrots who

repeat all these conceptions following ancient Rishis, but in reality we

do not understand them…

Anyway, thank you for this interesting discussion and let's try to use

SAMVA for our practical purposes.

Dear Thor

As we can see Rahu-Ketu exact affliction start seperating from next week onwards and also there are not much more malefic aspects could be seen for next week.Do you think US market wil show some optimism next week ??

Though i believe from Oct 3-Oct 10 we might see some negative news to come in related to housing sector or might be due to re-new problem emerged for president . As during that period we could see Transiting Venus( 4th lord) wil exactly afflicting to natal ketu and also we transit Sun wil be aspected by transit rahu folllowed by transit venus wil aspected by transit Saturn (8th lord).

It would be great to see ur views about next week and week after ..Just bit curious about next week that US bail out gonna be succesful in coming week ?

Dear list members,

In the coming week, the nodes will remain stationary very close to the natal 2nd lord SUN in the SAMVA USA chart at 23Â° 44' Capricorn and 7th house. The stationary conjunction will peak on September 28 and then begin to separate and pass out of 1Â° orb on October 11, 2008. As we have seen this transit aspect has brought great strain to the US President in the form of 1) a multi-pronged crisis in foreign policy and 2) a near meltdown of the financial system.

1. The US foreign policy initiatives of President Bush have endured setbacks and strain recently:

- US War on Terror: the President of Pakistan, Mussharraf, was forced to step down in August. The new authorities in the country have been less willing to cooperate with the US in its war on extremist islamists, the Al Queda and Taliban, who have bases in Pakistan and make incursions into Afghanistan. The war in Afghanistan has also become more difficult, with the Taliban having regained much of its former strength. Yesterday, a bomb blast in downtown Islamabad killed 40 people and was a warning from the extremists to the Pakistan government to end its strained cooperation with the US (see below)..

- US effort to spread Democracy and Free Markets: the US had a big setback in its relations with Russia after Russian leaders decided to invade the South Ossetia and Abkhazia regions of US ally state, Georgia, to stop fighting there between Georgian troops and the independence minded local militia. Subsequently, Russia has established political dominance of the break-away regions, a blow to Georgia that sends a strong signal to other bordering nations. Subsequently, political instability has emerged in Ukraine, weakening the resolve of the leadership to lean to the West. The Russian's have been deeply disturbed by the US missile shield being installed in its perimeter and the encroachment of the West into is former area of influence following the collapse of the Soviet Union. According to the new chart for Russia, which shows good strength for its state power

and foreign policy, the country is re-asserting its place in the international political realm, especially in neighboring states. As part of the overall conflict with the US, the Russian government decided to sell advanced bombers to Venezuela and Iran, states hostile to the USA, which has further angered the US government.

- US effort to bring Stablity and Peace to the Mid East: there has been growing tension over Israel's suspected plans to attack Iran over the nuclear plans of the latter. The Iranian leadership has woved to continue its work to harness nuclear energy, which many suspect will be used to develop the nuclear bomb. Iranian leaders promise the start of WW III if attacked. Today, the leader of Israel, Ohlmert, after months of political pressure, has announced to his party he is stepping down to face corruption allegations.

2. The US finanicial system, which provides fuel to the US economy, has been seriously damaged from the collapse of financial firms, resulting in huge losses of wealth and outlays by the US government:

The collapse of many financial firms in the USA, which began with the $40 billion "rescue" of Bear Sterns in March 2008 by J.P. Morgan and the US government, accelerated in September 2008, when a host of institutions failed (notably Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddy Mac) or came to the point of collapse (notably Washington Mutual), with over 100 other institutions listed as in distress. The US government is now preparing to ask the US congress to approve a spending bill exceeding $700 billion to save the assets under management by failed institutions. In other words, tax payers will have to fund the rescue. On the face of it, this is the deepest financial crisis to hit the US economy since the Great Depression of the 1930s.

Importantly, given the inherent strengths seen in the SAMVA USA chart, the economic situation is expected to improve from early next year, although plenty of other challenges lie ahead.

As the following table shows, the nodes will remain at their closest to natal 2nd lord SUN in the SAMVA USA chart for another few weeks, peaking on September 28. We can also see that transit SUN will remain week while its dispositor 3rd lord MERCURY is in old age even if in own sign Virgo. 10th lord MARS also in Virgo therefore also remains weak. With 4th lord VENUS gaining strength having moved into its own sign, Libra and 4th house, the aspect of Saturn is less disturbing to its indications. The aspect from 6th lord

JUPITER to SATURN and the 2nd house MEP is being strongly felt during the transit weakeness of the SUN. On August, 27, the 1st lord MOON will be in Leo where it will also become afflicted by transit SATURN, transit JUPITER and natal RAHU. The value of the dollar could suffer on that day. In the coming week, and especially on this day, some climax will likely be reached and for things to begin to ease, as several planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars) strengthen in transit, while the above transit afflictions fade out of effective orb. That said, things remain difficult for some more weeks and then other afflictions manifest...

As predicted in my message on 21 September:

"In the coming week, the nodes will remain stationary very close to the natal 2nd lord SUN in the SAMVA USA chart...In the coming week, and especially on [Friday, 26th], some climax will likely be reached and for things to begin to ease...That said, things remain difficult for some more weeks and then other afflictions manifest..."

The important thing is that the transit nodal station lifts of the natal SUN on 12 October. Moreover, transit 8th lord SATURN moves out of 1° conjunction orb of 2nd house on 30 September. This means the pressure on the indications on the Sun and its indications will let up to a large extent.

That said other afflictions manifest:

- transit 6th lord JUPITER becomes conjunct 6th house MEP afflicting the 10th house of the executive and foreign trade, 12th house of foreign countries, 2nd house of wealth, status and neighboring countries, so some countroversy will likely continue for the President and the government rescue plan until 19 October.

- transit 4th lord VENUS in Libra and 4th house passes over natal KETU on 3-4 October and into aspect of transit SATURN on7-9 October. So some more disquiet for the housing market, communal harmony or other Venus indications may be expected on these days.

- transit JUPITER is applying again in conjunciton of natal VENUS. This aspect will peak in the week following the election on 4 November. Expect more troubling news for the housing sector, dissatisfaction by many with the election outcome, some controversies and upset for investors.

- transit 8th lord SATURN in early November becomes highly afflicted by natal SATURN and transit JUPITER. These aspects to transit SATURN peak in late November. We could expect some violent event...There may also be disturbance to financial markets.
