Jupiter and Venus conjunction: the manifestations

Earlier this year, when transit 6th lord JUPITER became conjunct natal 4th lord VENUS at 23° 50' Sagittuarius/H6 in the SAMVA USA chart - in mid March and early June - the airline companies experienced a financial setback, mostly linked to the high oil price. We discussed this on this list in the Spring of 2008. Well, this aspect is again applying and will become exact for the third time in early November 2008.

Already, there is a news story discussing that one of the best run airlines, Southwest Airlines, experienced a loss in the third quarter 2008, not because of a rising oil price, but due to bets the company took to protect itself against the high oil price which did not work out.

Likely there will be other such stories in the airline industry in coming weeks.

We could add that as Venus is 4th lord of communal harmony and Jupiter is 6th lord of conflict, there could also be stories about upset in the community, likely linked to the outcome of the Presidential elections on November 4th.
