Perhaps someone on SAMVA is interested to examine the prospective chart for Israel. In my view, the authentic chart for this country should have - a prominent 6th house influence (fixity of views), possibly related to 9th house or lord (religious nature of state) - a strong 11th house influence (USA is a steadfast and generous ally), - a major affliction to the 2nd house or its lord (pressing problems with neighbors). This affliction should be exact as the neighboring states invaded Israel within 24 hours of its creation. Israel has been in a near-state of war with its neighbors since. In my view, we are making good headway to establish the historical case for the authentic horoscope for Israel. To the earlier information, I have found the following passage in the Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israrel which was read out by David Ben Gurion from 16:00-16:16 on May 14, 1948 in Tel Aviv: "WE DECLARE that, with effect from the moment of the termination of the Mandate being tonight, the eve of Sabbath, the 6th Iyar, 5708 (15th May, 1948), until the establishment of the elected, regular authorities of the State in accordance with the Constitution which shall be adopted by the Elected Constituent Assembly not later than the 1st October 1948, the People's Council shall act as a Provisional Council of State, and its executive organ, the People's Administration, shall be the Provisional Government of the Jewish State, to be called "Israel". Evidently, the Jews of Palestine then acted in haste and secret to declare their own state in view of that time plan on the last day of the mandate. In short, the historical evidence seems to be quite clear on the timing. Now we just have to establish the astrological case for this time.
