It is helpful to follow the headlines when important aspects are being felt to see the evidence for astrology in action. This was stated yesterday:

"...during the conjunction of Jupiter with Rahu, which is becoming closer in coming few weeks, we may expect to see some tension develop with regard to the indications of Jupiter."

Religion is a general indication of Jupiter. Now there is the following news:

Attacks on Pope Benedict XVI's decision to lift the excommunication of a Holocaust denier escalated Monday, with one theologian calling on him to step down as the head of the Roman Catholic Church. Criticism following the pope's January 24 announcement has been particularly cutting in Germany, where denying the Holocaust is a crime punishable with a jail sentence. "If the pope wants to do some good for the Church, he should leave his job," eminent liberal Catholic theologian Hermann Haering told the German daily Tageszeitung.

Thanks for the kind words.

The aspects are now becoming difficult for astrology. The passage of Jupiter through its sign of debilitation means all things pertaining to Jupiter, which is the lord of divine knowledge and grace, including astrology, are manifesting more weakly than usual. I am sure this is the reason the number of posts on SAMVA has been less than normal. More importantly, during the conjunction of Jupiter with Rahu, which is becoming closer in coming few weeks, we may expect to see some tension develop with regard to the indications of Jupiter. The recent religious problems involving the Catholic Church and the Rabbinate of Israel is one expression of this energy. Banking and the Judiciary and CEOs around the world are also likely to feel the strain at this time. It would be helpful to keep the mind focused on the lord - and away from the materialism, confusion and doubt sowed

by Rahu - at such times. For those with Rahu afflicting, propiating it at such a time would also be helpful.
