SA doesn´t consider the station-direct or station-retrograde as a

rule per se. Retorgarde or direct motion are not considered important

in SA. In addition to the functional and general nature of the

planet(s) involved in an aspect, the focus on the quantum and timing of

influence in SA is on

 

 

the exactness of the aspect (the closer the greater the influence)

the duration of the aspect (the longer lasting the greater the

influence)

the applying or separating nature of the aspect (the applying

aspect would have increasing influence and separating a lessening

influence.

 

 

That said, an aspect within 1° orb on either side has the potential

to strain a strong planet, while an orb of 5° has the power to harm a

weak planet.
