Guest guest
Dear friends, At the beginning of 2009, the Dow Jones Industrial Average share price index stood at approximately 9,000. It dropped in value in the first half of January but remained at about 8,300 until early February, when another decline set in. At March 9, the DJIA stood at 6,500. Around that time SAMVA members were speculating where the share price might go next. then advised us to wait for the nodal station to lift. This we did. As the following graph shows, the share prices then began to rise again and now the index stands near 8,000. The major transits afflicting in the chart in the first months of the year have been 1) natal 8L Saturn in Scorpio/H5 fflicting transit 8L Saturn in Leo/H2. This was a prime affliction until mid February. 2) transit Rahu (Ketu) stationary at 15° Capricorn/H7 (Cancer/H1) - transit 6L Jupiter debilitated in Capricorn/H7. This produced tension in the chart when transit Jupiter became conjunct Rahu at 15° Capricorn/H7 from third week of January to mid March 2009. Jupiter Rahu 1.1.2009 4°Cp56' 15°Cp28'D 8.1.2009 6°Cp33' 15°Cp26' 15.1.2009 8°Cp12' 15°Cp20'D 22.1.2009 9°Cp51' 15°Cp20' 29.1.2009 11°Cp30' 15°Cp17'D 5.2.2009 13°Cp09' 15°Cp17'D 12.2.2009 14°Cp48' 15°Cp16' 19.2.2009 16°Cp25' 15°Cp10'D 26.2.2009 18°Cp01' 15°Cp09' 5.3.2009 19°Cp34' 14°Cp46'D 12.3.2009 21°Cp05' 14°Cp35' 19.3.2009 22°Cp33' 14°Cp00'D 26.3.2009 23°Cp57' 13°Cp47' The conjunction of transit 6L Jupiter with natal 2L Sun has not had a major impact and we are waiting for transit 8L Saturn to become stationary within (just barely) the 1° orb conjunction of 20° Leo, the MEP of the H2. In short, the lifting of the major afflictions until mid March 2009, has as suggested resulted in a recovery in the US share prices.
