Venus and Mars conjunct in Pisces, Aries and Taurus

Dear friends,

 

Venus and Mars are traveling in proxmity in the second half of April, in June and into early July. They pass out of the effective 5° orb from each other from May 4 to June 2.

 

During this time, they become conjunct twice:

 

April 22, 2009 at 5° 30' Pisces

June 22, 2009 at 21° 35' Taurus

 

Depending on their functional nature this conjunction is benign or adverse.

 

Venus is a functional malefic planet for Pisces (8L), Scorpio (12L) and Taurus (6L).

Mars is a functional malefic planet for Virgo (8L), Taurus (12L) and Scorpio (6L).

 

Accordingly, this conjunction is more difficult for Taurus and Scorpio born with 5-6° rising or planets placed there in Pisces or Virgo during April and with 21-22° rising during June or planets placed there in Taurus or Scorpio. Fortunately, the aspect is moving forward at normal speed and thus the influence is not so long lasting.

 

Mars and Venus are functional benefic planets for all other ascendants and the influence should thus be good, unless conjunct or aspected by natal or transit FMs.
