The documentary evidence supporting the birth of Barack Obama took place in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 4, 1961 appears to be convincing.

The document - a Certification of Live Birth - indicated that Mr Obama had been born at 7.24pm on 4 August in Honolulu, Hawaii. Researchers have also dug up birth notices for Mr Obama printed in the Honolulu Advertiser and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin in 1961. The newspapers received information about births from Hawaii's Department of Health.

This suggests the only option would be, if his birth took place out of the country (as has been alleged), that it was possible to register someone illegally after their arrival to the country after a foreign birth. That would seem to be a remote possibility, given the statment of the Hawaii officials, unless they were much more relaxed about such things then in 1961 they are now. In this regard, we can keep in mind that Hawaii was the last state to join the USA. This took place on August 21, 1959 - less than two years before Obama's birth.

 

That said, the time of 7: 24 pm gives 25° Capricorn rising and has suggested this ascendant does not fit his accomplishment. So, we can reexamine other birth times, based on astrological insights. In this regard, has apparently suggested a Sagittarius rising sign for him be examined. This rising sign would imply he was born before 5:54 pm - or over one and half hour before the documented time, which also seems unlikely, unless there was considerable irregularity, confusion or an outright mistake in the registration of the time of his birth.

 

So, even if the documented case appears to be strong that Obama was born in the USA, there remains an element of unexplained mystery - at least according to SA.

Dear David,

 

An even simpler take - the afflictions and weaknesses take precedence.

 

It is doubtful that the president of the USA has such a weak 10H, and

utterly weak Mars. The weak second lord (40% strong), being Saturn, does not

bode well for status, income and help from highly placed individuals. The

minimum strength requirement is 60% strong. 50% strong Jupiter means that he

would have massive expenses and significant losses as a trend in life.

Strong 8H and 4H being the Sun and Moon respectively are very helpful, but

not enough to balance the other obvious weaknesses. At best this is an

average chart.

 

I've also back tested this chart against whatever events I could find and it

does not hold well.

 

The utterly weak main period lord (Mars) from the 70's, followed by badly

placed (8H) Rahu's main period into the mid 90's and currently in the main

period of a debilitated Jupiter should strike us as, in the very least,

unusual.

For what it's worth, I think the Capricorn rising sign and birth date/time

of August 4, 1961 at 7:24 p.m. in Honolulu is correct for President Obama.

 

In a very simple view, we see that the Sun-like planet, Saturn, in the first

house, can give leadership of the masses and service to humanity.

 

Jupiter in the first house brings children, law education, and a connection

with foreign lands.

 

Mars, ruling the fourth house in the eighth house, gives loss of parents and

frequent change of residence.

 

Venus ruling career, in the sixth house, gives conflicts, overcoming

adversity, and service to others.

 

Sixth house is also law, and he is an attorney.

 

Exalted Moon ruling seventh, in the fifth house, gives an educated spouse,

and a keen ability to comprehend and emotionally connect with others.

 

The aspect of the twelfth ruler on the ninth ruler, gives a father from a

foreign land, and loss of father as well.

 

The debilitated Jupiter contributes to his smoking habit and experimentation

with drugs when he was in college.

 

There are no debilitated planets in the navamsa; while Mercury, Saturn and

Jupiter are in their own signs, and Rahu/Ketu are exalted.

 

The tenth ruler of the natal chart is in Leo in the dasamsa (chart of

success), ruled by the royal Sun (significator for president), while Mars,

(commander-in-chief) is in the first house of the dasamsa chart.

 

He was elected in the exalted Moon sub period.

 

Moon rules the public, which overwhelmingly supported him.

 

Until someone can show otherwise, I think it is safe to follow this chart.
