The situation in Iran is difficult still even if sharply reduced since the June riots. Nevertheless, the political opposition appears not to be caving in to the pressures, but in doing so is experiencing an ever harsher crackdown.

 

The aspect of transit Ketu to natal Jupiter at 5° 30' Cancer/H1 will become exact in early September. The aspect is taking place in the 1st house of the 23° 42' Cancer rising chart, suggesting the identity of Iran is at the heart of the conflict.

 

The conjunction of transit stationary 6th lord Jupiter to natal 7th house MEP will become exact in late September, when also transit 8th lord Saturn moves into 3rd house in opposition with natal 10th lord Mars at 2° Pisces/H9. Exposed here the first time are the seven secret prisons where opponents to the Iranian regime are subjected to murder, rape, broken bones and other savage abuses. The infamous Kahrizak prison on the southern outskirts of Tehran was not shut down to conceal the atrocities perpetrated there as reported. See also next message concerning Iran's involvement with Syria and North Korea to create a bulwark in the middle east against US efforts to bring peace along western ideological (free markets, liberal democracies, peace with Israel, support of moderate Arab states, etc.) grounds. In doing so, these countries appear to be rejecting the fresh start that President Obama has been hoping for to bring durable peace to the region.
