Hello list,

The G-20 has decided to crack down on executive pay, including excessive bonuses.

Obama hails 'tough regulations'

22:34 GMT, Friday, 25 September 2009 23:34 UK

President Barack Obama: ''We have agreed to a strong set of reforms''

The world's leading nations have agreed "tough new regulations" to prevent another global financial crisis, US President Barack Obama has said. The G20 group of leading and emerging economies will become a permanent body co-ordinating the world economy..."We have taken bold and concerted action to forge a new framework for strong, sustainable and balanced growth," said US President Barack Obama. "We have agreed tough new financial regulations to ensure that the reckless few can no longer be allowed to put the global financial system at risk." …Mr Obama added that the leaders had agreed rules to ensure that executive pay would be linked to long term financial performance. Many have criticised excessive bonuses as encouraging the kind of short term risk taking that

contributed to the financial crisis.â€

In this regard we can note:

Predictions for the USA in 2009 (December 31, 2008)

"The trend is clearly towards populist reforms in the wake of the collapse and public rescue of the financial sector. While the financial crisis is due to excessive risk taking, the popular resentment is focused on the stunning excesses in the renumeration of the CEOs responsible for the crisis."

Hello dear list members, Further to the predictions of cosmologer. The astrological indications for the tough regulations were mentioned on the list even in my message dated the 22nd September, 2009:

"During the Saturn sub period things are likely to improve to a good extent once the persisting transit afflictions are over towards the end of the year. The sub period of Mercury will also prove to be helpful barring some transit influences. The economy will be on sound footing in long run with taking care of the extra vaganza like aggressive / risky marketing and huge perks drawn by top bosses of the companies which was prevalent and contributed to the economic setbacks."

Dear Professor,

I think the pertinent question on everyone's mind, since it's the best

barometer, is: Is the bottom in place for the US stock market throughout the

Saturn and following Mercury subperiods?

Dear Professor,

Ok, so there's no prediction offered for a bottom in the stock market, but

rather an 'anything can happen due to volatility,' call. And the prediction

is for long term stability. Thanks.

The long term assessment is easily gathered from seeing the strength of the

natal chart. Thank you for teaching this.

My Dear Professor,

You have also told me that RA influencing a house of action or its lord

(10th, 1st or 3rd, I believe?) makes one a perpetrator. Is this what makes

the US try to police the world and invade other people's countries?

Thank you.
