Well, Mr. Thor, wait no longer. The Wall Street Journal reported today

that CIT, a huge lender that was recipient of billions in bail out money,

is likely to file bankruptcy " in a matter of hours....The $2.3 billion in

taxpayer money spent to save CIT is likely to be wiped out, as the lender

prepares for the filing. "

In other words, this is a residual failiure. The main point of my reply was that "events of the magnitude seen during the autumn of 2008 are not expected in coming months!"

The Professor did warn us that by November it would become apparent that

the steps taken to solve the financuial problems of the US were the wrong

ones.
