Beijing, China (CNN) -- Prominent Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo, who was arrested in 1989 for his role in the Tiananmen Square protest, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for his role in a separate subversion case, his lawyer said Friday.

Mercury-Rahu period is operating. When presenting the rectified late Capricorn rising chart for communist China, it was noted that the natal aspect of Rahu to 4th lord Mars in the 11th house of ideals suggested the communication and actions of the government could have an influence to undermine their well being. With the natal 7th lord Moon also conjunct the nodal axis, such actions would also tend to undermine the foreign policy of China. In view of the natal aspects, as well as the present transit station of Rahu and Ketu in the prosed MEP of the 12th and 6th houses of the chart, a backlash to this event is likely to develop.
