Here is one prediction made last year that has unfortunately come true. The fact that scale of the setback is not great is also in line with the prediction as it has been noted that natal Mars is strong in the SAMVA USA chart and thus resilient to avoid grave setbacks. Nevertheless, the stationary aspect of the Most Malefic Planet, Saturn, as 8th lord of death, to Mars is bringing death and a lot of strain. Undeniably, the US military, even if their numbers have been boosted since the autumn, is strained by the Afghan war as the Taliban guerillas are a strong and threatening force around the country.

 

In December, transit 8th lord Saturn will begin to settle into aspect to natal 10th lord Mars in Scorpio and 5th house. At the same time, natal Saturn will afflict transit Jupiter in late Capricorn. This could be a challenging time for the US military. With Saturn becoming stationary around 11° Virgo, the aspect to Mars would be felt into 2010.

(CNN) -- Two federal personnel were shot, one fatally, Monday in the lobby of a federal courthouse building in Las Vegas, Nevada, federal officials said. "The gunman was shot by Marshals Service personnel and has been pronounced dead. The deputy U.S. Marshal is in stable condition at a local hospital. Unfortunately, the court security officer succumbed to his wounds and passed away." The incident occurred about 8 a.m. PT, FBI Special Agent Joseph Dickey said.
