Jupiter and World War II

One of the amazing things about the SAMVA USA chart (Perpetual Union) is how well the planetary periods explain the trends and events in the nation's history. This article offers a glimpse into the major trends and events of the national life from 1937 to 1953, when the planetary

period of Jupiter was operating. This is the time when the USA was dragged into World War II and later took a leading role in the Cold War with the Soviet Union and China. A review of what transpired during this sixteen year period reveals an uncanny fit with the astrology of the horoscope. In fact, the correspondence is simply amazing.

Hello list members,

I´ve made minor modifications to the latest article by drawing out the importance of the fact that Jupiter is the 6th lord of conflict and it is placed in the 5th house of entertainment.

Jupiter and World War II (January 3, 2010)

....

Jupiter as 6th lord: WW IIThe US was involved with major conflicts from the beginning of the period with World War II and to its end with the Korean War. This fits as Jupiter is 6th lord of conflict. The US literally began to truly encircle the world during this period, linked to the expansiveness of Jupiter. World War II is considered the last 'just' war and perhaps the finest hour of the USA in its role to help create a better world. The Cold War turned more threatening, especially during the subsequent Saturn period. At home, technology advanced in the Jupiter period. Radio and cinema became lifelines for Americans as mediums for news, music and entertainment. The government also relied heavily on them for propaganda purposes. ...

Jupiter in 5th house: HollywoodThere were also signal developments seen in the US entertainment sector at the start of the Jupiter period. This fits as Jupiter is placed in the 5th house of entertainment. From the late 1930s the movie industry was run by powerful studios with their own set of "big" movie stars. The forties are generally considered the heyday of US cinema; termed the ‘Golden Age of

Hollywood.’ If we had to pick a film that portrays the rise of the Hollywood movie industry it would have to be Hotel Hollywood in 1937, which featured the exuberant hit song Hooray for Hollywood.
