Deadly 'epic snowstorm' hits Washington, mid-Atlantic

(CNN) -- An "epic snowstorm" smacked the nation's capital and mid-Atlantic states Friday, and a father and son were killed on a slick highway in southwestern Virginia when they stopped to help another motorist.
