The weather has been quite difficult in large parts of the USA, both snowy and cold.

The Eastern blizzard is not just taking a toll on travel: It's also taxing local government budgets struggling to keep up with the emergency. Weather officials reported that 47 states have snow on the ground.

Thousands of flights grounded by blizzard

A blizzard stretching from New York to North Carolina has halted operations at several airports and grounded thousands of flights.

The cold and snowy weather conditions, including the disruptive weather conditions, are explained by

 

- transit Saturn, ruling cold weather, aspects natal Mars, ruling heat

- transit Rahu (stormy weather) and Ketu (extreme weather) afflict natal Venus (ruling comforts)

- transit Venus (comforts) in the 8th house of obstacle and endings, where the dispositor of natal Venus, Jupiter, is in transit.

 

In the past few days, Moon has also been transiting the 6th house, while Sun has been aspected by natal 8th lord Saturn.
