My Dear Thor,

Namasthe. Like the

Professor, you are very generous in encouragement. Thank you Thor, I value your

words. I greatly appreciate your exhaustive work on the USA SAMVA Char[ & have

relished the historical knowledge equally, often supplied by other SAMVA

astrologers], because, here was an example of complete dedication to the SA School

of thought, & equally to its Founder, Prof Choudhry; blended with

relentless enquiry, testing and validation of the Sutras. I look forward to the

day, when I will have in my hands, your published  work on the SAMVA USA Chart,

with all the interesting historical events. It would be a marvellous feast for

me.

Best Regards,

Sankara

My

dear Sankara,

Certainly,

it is a privilige to co-operate with you and other dedicated SA mundane

astrology researchers.

You

research into the ethos of nations is very interesting and I look forward to

see more when you find time to continue with it.

For

the past few years, my research effort has been focused on the

astrological history of the USA in terms of the SAMVA USA chart. It is

quite time consuming to dig out the historical events and examine them astrologically.

I have almost completed a survey of the major periods, at least in more

recent times. The information on historical events at the birth of the

Republic is sketchier. That said, major themes have emerged demonstrating

the veracity of the SAMVA USA chart.

am grateful to you for that. For this Conf, I am again, asking Prof Choudhry,

Hello my dear ,

Thank you for the additional insight in response to

the question by John.

Some interesting configurations are seen in the SAMVA

USA chart during the summer of 2010, when VENUS-SATURN period is

operating. To what extent do you think it likely or possible that we will

see violent events due to one of the following aspects:

1. May-June 2010: transit stationary SATURN as

8th lord in 3rd house in aspect to natal 6th lord JUPITER in the 5th

house, while also in aspect to transit JUPITER in 9th house?

[At that time we could note the influence of also

transit KETU conjunct 12th house MEP and in aspect to MEPs of 4th house, 6th

house and 8th house, while transit RAHU is conjunct 6th house MEP and in

aspect to the MEPs of 10th house, 12th house and 2nd house].

2. June-August 2010: transit stationary KETU in

12th house MEP in exact aspect to natal KETU in 4th house MEP

and transit stationary RAHU in 6th house MEP in exact aspect to natal RAHU in

the MEP of the 10th house?

[Additionally, in July transit JUPITER will

closely aspect natal MARS, while SATURN will do so in August, with the two

becoming opposite in mid August when the aspect from MARS is close to 2°

orb].

Re: Stationary Ketu in Summer 2010

Hello dear John,

Nodes always afflict when form close afflictions as per SA rules. Their

afflicting influence is prolonged when nodes are in stationary or very slow

movement.

As prolonged nodal influence would be on the natal

nodes and on the MEP of various houses between June to August, 2010, and

simultaneously transit Jupiter will also be afficting the natal Mars things are

likely to be difficult for US. There is continued difference of opinion on methodology

to solve the existing economic problems and economic lack of confidence

continues. This will be seen clearly in market movements in the form of

fluctuations which may be downward more.

Subject:

Stationary Ketu in Summer 2010

Hello Thor, and List Members,

This summer, we will witness the stationary Lunar Nodes in the zodiac. From my

calculations, it will be stationary from June 11 to July 25. In the USA SAMVA

chart, the even houses will be affected and especially the 4th house of real

estate and fixed assets. Since these aspects are from the 12th house, I suspect

we can expect some grave consequences.

I did some tests on the transit after reading the fabulous article on the Nodes

by the Cosmologer posted on his blogspot. Using JyotishTools, I plotted the

positions of Ketu before and after the Total Solar eclipse that will occur on

July 11, 2010. I have found that when the nodes travel at intervals of less

than 5 arc minutes per 2 day period, then we can assume that they are stationary.

It seems that eclipses occur in groups of similar dates. (In this case, Lunar

and Solar) Before and after these groupings, the nodes become stationary. I

have found that the stationary period begins 2 weeks before the 1st eclipse in

the grouping and ends 2 weeks after the last eclipse in the group. Below is a

chronological analysis of what will occur this summer:

June 11, 2010: New Moon in Taurus [Ketu at Gemini 18:00]

Taurus placements: Me 8:42, Mo 18:14, Sun 26:45

Ketu slowing down and becomes stationary

June 26, 2010: Full Moon in Sag. and Sun in Gemini [Ketu at Gem.17:55]

Partial Lunar Eclipse. Ketu is stationary.

Gemini placements: Sun 11:22, Ke 17:55

Sagittarius placements: Mo 18:47

July 11, 2010: New Moon in Gemini [Ketu is at Gemini 17:58]

Total Solar Eclipse. Ketu is stationary.

Gemini placements: Ke 17:58, Mo 25:18, Sun 25:23

July 25, 2010: Full Moon with Sun in Cancer [Ketu at Gem. 17:57]

Sun in Cancer at 8:44 and Moon in Capricorn 5:57

Ketu starts moving more quickly again

Once the nodes start moving again, they travel a bit and become stationary for

1 week and then travel again to repeat this movement pattern (of slow creeping

and stop and go) until its again close to the next eclipse. Well that's how it

seems to be. Correct me if I am wrong.

Do the nodes only afflict when they are stationary? This is what I seem to

believe after reading many posts. I would think that they always afflict when

they get to the correct degree for a close affliction. In any case, take care

and enjoy the post.

Best regards,

John Dorio
