Transit Ketu aspects transit Jupiter in March

During the remainder of March, transit Jupiter, now at 20° Aquarius, will be under the aspect of transit Ketu, now at 24° Gemini. While both planets are moving at normal speed, this aspect would raise some concerns for the indications of Jupiter at that time. Some sudden setback, while seen to be less likely, is nevertheless possible.

 

In the SAMVA USA chart, transit Jupiter is 6th lord in the 8th house of obstacles at the present time while Ketu is in the 12th house of foreign or remote things. Ketu and the 12th house both rule seperation. The 6th house rules health and enemity.

 

On the health front, the US health care bill of President Obama, even if a watered down version, seems to be in jeopardy in the Congress. The US seems unable to solve the basic problem of extending health care coverage to the poorest 30 million of its citizens. The influence of 'seperation' of Ketu in the 12th house is coming through to the indications of Jupiter.

 

The Federal Reserve (the central bank of the USA), ruled by Jupiter and the Sun, is also fighting a new legal bill in Congress that would strip it off much of its regulatory and supervisory power with regard to the banking system, leaving it with only the largest or systematically important insititutions. It is being 'sperated' from a major part of its traditional activities.

 

Concerns also remain about the foreign (12th house) terrorist (Ketu) enemies (6th house) of the USA, who are living in remote and hidden places (12th house). The concern of the US government is to prevent such elements from staging another terrorist attack the country, a major strain.

An intercepted message indicates some members of al Qaeda are looking to the group's founder for more visible leadership, a U.S. intelligence official told CNN Wednesday after CIA director Leon Panetta talked about the message in a newspaper interview. Osama bin Laden is "rarely seen, rarely heard," the official said, and that is "troubling" to those who see him as their leader. "There are strong indications that some al Qaeda terrorists would like Bin Laden to take take a higher profile," the official said, adding that Panetta's comments in the Washington Post were referring to the al Qaeda core that is operating along the Pakistan/Afghanistan border. Al Qaeda "is on the run but still coming after us," the official said.

March 26 (Bloomberg) -- Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said the recent rise in Treasury yields represents a “canary in the mine†that may signal further gains in interest rates. Higher yields reflect investor concerns over “this huge overhang of federal debt which we have never seen before,†Greenspan said in an interview today on Bloomberg Television. “I’m very much concerned about the fiscal situation,†said Greenspan, 84, who headed the central bank from 1987 to 2006. An increase in long-term interest rates “will make the housing recovery very difficult to implement and put a dampening on capital ivestment as well.†Ten-year Treasury notes were little changed at 9:47 a.m. in New York to yield 3.88 percent. The yield has risen 19 basis points in a week.
