US Congress clears historic health care bill

Hello dear list members,

President Obama signed the Health Care Bill into law at around noon time today. I find it amazing but highly reflective that transit Rahu is stationary over natal 4th lord Venus in the 6th house when the bill is voted and then signed into law. Transit Venus is also exalted in the 9th house along with a debilitated 3rd lord.

While this is a historic event, the political opposition is up in arms over the bill, which it considers too costly or involving too much redistribution. They have announced they will fight to repel it and to seek a mandate for that in the elections next fall. Given that the transits will be easier next fall, I think theirs is "a tale full of sound and fury, signifiying nothing". In other words, while they are venting their frustrations at this time, a follow-through on this threat will likely not be there.
