USA: Top secret military mission in space

Hello list,

Transit Saturn is now in the sign of Virgo, where it has been predicted to have an influence to boost high tech activities. Indeed, Apple Computer Company has released many gadgets. Google and other high tech companies are also prospering. Microsoft just reported a major increase in its first quarter profits in 2010. Not surprisingly, we have been learning the US military is working on major advances in space technology (see earlier post on this). Today, the following story appears (with many amazing photos):

A top secret space plane developed by the US military has blasted off from Cape Canaveral on its maiden voyage. Billed as a small shuttle, the unmanned X-37B heralds the next generation of space exploration. It will be the first craft to carry out an autonomous re-entry in the history of the US programme. But its mission - and its cost - remain shrouded in secrecy. The Air Force said the launch was a success but would give no further details.

One thing we can note is that challenging aspects involving Saturn as 8th lord of obstacles and endings (danger, risks) are often felt in the SAMVA USA chart, when missions into space take place.

The influence of Mars, the lord of enterprise, risk taking and courage is also also most often when important US space missions take place. Mars is now presently transiting the sign of Cancer and is in the MEP of the 1st house of the chart.

Moreover, as transit Rahu, the planet of secrecy, is placed in the MEP of the 12th house (hidden things, outer space) of the SAMVA USA chart, a top secret military space mission is reported.

You are welcome and thanks for pointing out the error.

As sometimes happens, I was posting remotely without the chart in front of me

and based on recall. In any event, with the nodal axis exactly conjunct the MEPs

of the 6th-12th houses. Transit Rahu is also afflicting the 10th and 2nd houses.

It amounts to pretty much the same thing.

Hello dear Jorge and list members,

Good to hear, Jorge.

In giving this matter some further thought, we can begin by noting that this is an unmanned space flight. As such, the sense of danger to the crew is less. However, as Saturn, as 8th lord is aspecting natal 6th lord Jupiter, this development could raise concerns in other parts of the world, such as Iran, North Korea and Syria, about a new alarming development in the military capabilities of the USA - the growing ability of the USA to not only gather intelligence around the globe, but perhaps also to launch a devastating attack from space. This also raises another issue, the use of computer based automation, sensing and communication technology. The craft will to some extent operate through remote control of the manned space control center and in other respects, such as landing, be on autopilot. Perhaps this reflects an influence of Ketu (planet of separation or isolation) in the MEP of

the 12th house (far away or remote places). Finally, as for Rahu, it is transiting in the MEP of the 6th house of conflict, highlighting the role of secrecy in this so far peacful but miliary-oriented undertaking.
