dreams of empty houses

Dear Ramadas Rao,

Do you know something of explanation of dreams? This morning while taking

a nap, I had a dream of entering my father's house, and seeing lots of

furniture having been sold, heaps of blankets all around, and the house is

empty. Just before that I had a dream I was on the altar in our temple,

and the altar is empty, where normally Deities are standing, except for

those I worship, but I come late and have had something like a 'missing

time' experience.

Do you have an idea what this dream could mean?

Time I woke up: 13:05.

Yours,

Dhira Krsna dasa,

Jyotisha

Dear Dhira Krsna dasa,

Though your mail was addressed to Ramadas Rao I am sure none of you would mind my comment here:

Dreaming of houses is more or less common and usually symbolise one's emotional and psychological selv (house = safety, comfort, security etc.).

The greater part of your conscious and unconscious life may be represented by 'that particular house'.

As the house is empty, it may show that you currently are concerned with some dilemma in your life which may live you "empty" (emotionally?). It could however be more general.

Try to remember any particular, more 'singled out' detail from that dream which may point at the core.

Kind regards

/Jay Weiss

Dear Dhira,

only you know what's going on in your life, and how your symbols work for you- but it seems like fear of loss /empty house/ or regret over loss of chances, unnecessary reduction of variety and fullness of life /empty altar, only Deities you worship. As Jay said, house is common symbol, and the dream reflects either fear or 'precognition' of changes in the air. How does the chart look? Don't accept any dream interpretation before you feel 'aha' effect. We gave you some ideas. You certainly know on one level deeper or lower, what is happening, and what is going to happen in your life,

prior to conscious 'acknowledgment

we know on some level our future. It is a valuable message, something wants to be acknowledged, to find the way to your consciousness, and is sending a message. You may also be receiving the message from others, on what will happen/ is happening, and you obviously allow them to communicate with you- flashes of 'precognition' happen more often than we think, and sometimes you find yourself wondering why and how you had to 'know' that- if that worries you too much, try to give yourself a task not to receive that energy, not to exercise that faculty of precognition. or you may want to sharpen it?

I am anxiously waiting for Nimitta Cd!

All the best,

Anna

Dear Ramadas Rao,

I was only referring to the dream itself.

Indeed you may find several interpretations in a prasna chart but at the end of the day it is the individual's complex mind, with it's entire (to us unknown) parts, that generates those signals in a state of (like a) dream.

Please note Dhira's text "this morning while taking a NAP" (i.e. AFTER a nights sleep) which I will interpret in psychological terms as "the state in between full awakens and deep sleep".

Many people will often experience visions under this particular state and it's actually were many warning (for better or worse) are generated.

The problem is that most people will not remember those "visions" or in the best case will not be able to interpret them and/or take them seriously.

Kind regards

/Jay Weiss
