question on Dhimantah yoga - from sanjay

Dear sanjay,

Dhimantah yoga requires relationship of 3rd and 6th houses (i.e.

mercury) with lagna. However, significator of Dhi is jupiter. How do

we understand this?

Another question regarding moola dasha. Moola dasha shows root of

events or past karma. It includes moola dasha of all the 9 planets

including ketu. How do u explain the role of ketu in generating karma

considering it as mokshakaraka?

Dear Nitish,

We at New jersey had a discussion on this with Guruji. From what I

understand he implies that....

 

1. DhiMantha yoga is more important to be reckoned from Lagna lord

and not with Lagna itself. Lagna lord is paka lagna and it's

signifier is Jupiter.

2. Intelligence is caused by desires so Graha drishti is important.

3. Third and six house are houses are learning as they are upchayas

causing one learn or acquire more. Tenth and Eleventh houses are

houses are experiences and work therby cause growth.

 

Look at Graha aspects of lagna lord on 3/6 lord and house.

also look look for 3/6 lord's aspect on Lagna lord for formation of

dhimantha yoga. Conjunctions of lagna lord with 3/6th lord is also

good.

 

The lord of any house indicates the Paka of house. Since paka of

anyhouse's signifier is Jupiter. The lord of house indicates the

intelligence behind the house.

 

 

Relations with 3rd

3rd house indicates initiative based learnings

 

a) If Lord of lagna aspects 3rd lord then the individual will try to

be very aggresive in learning. Such people try to be first in

learning. They try to figure the answer even before getting a

experience or reading about it.

 

**Houses indicates the resources.

Houses are ruled by Adityas.**

b) If lord of lagna aspects say the 3rd house rather than the 3rd

lord then the person has access to the resources to the learning.

Like the person may have access to books due to which he will do

reading before actually venturing into something.

 

c) If 3rd lord graha aspects the lagna lord then there maybe somebody

who would teach the individual even before the person could venture

into action.

 

Relations with 6th

-------------------

6th house indicates learning after failure or attempts or external

competition.

 

a) If lord of lagna aspects 6th lord then the person learns very

quickly after being shown the 1st attempt. consequent learning comes

very easily.

 

Similarly you can deduct other 1st lord and 6th combinations.
