Guest guest
Dear Guru's and Learned Members, I was looking at a native's chart and whose Lagna is Mithuna. The native has 8th lord Sani in 8th house. So can I say that, this placement qualifies for a Vipareeta Raja Yoga, and what benefits of this 8th house lord in 8th house, (which is a occult studies and longevity) can give to this native. This native has 9th (Dharma Sthana) lord Sani and 10th (Karma Sthana) lord Guru are together in 8th house so this forms the Dharma-Karmadhiupati Yoga. Also, this native has Ketu in 8th house, so basically, Ketu, Guru,Budha and Sani in 8th house. Can you please help me to understand the significance of the the 4 planets in 8th house. Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya, Dear Rao, The native has 8th lord Sani in 8th house. So can I say that, this placement qualifies for a Vipareeta Raja Yoga, and what benefits of this 8th house lord in 8th house, (which is a occult studies and longevity) can give to this native. This is called Sarala Yoga, see Mantreshwar Phaladeepika.. Type of Veepreta This native has 9th (Dharma Sthana) lord Sani and 10th (Karma Sthana) lord Guru are together in 8th house so this forms the Dharma-Karmadhiupati Yoga. Also, this native has Ketu in 8th house, so basically, Ketu, Guru,Budha and Sani in 8th house. Yes it is dharmakarmaadhipati Yoga triggered in occult field or in the field of finance (banking, insurance, history, or other 8th house significations). Lagnesh in 8th house with 8th lord yuti malefic will surely give health problems at times. Much will depend on guru placement in Navamsa. If guru remains in weak position in Navamsa, Veepreta Yoga occurs of neecha benefic in 6th from Arudha Lagna, giving wealth. Four grahas in 8th indicates that he was Tapaswi in the previous birth, yet has fallen from the path due to Shadripu-passion.. Karaka of this Shadripu is Ketu, further confirming this with placement in 8th house. Further, Lagna lord in conjunction with 7th lord with Shani 8th lord may leave him without marriage. Much will depend on the strength of venus and upapada.. Best wishes Zoran Can you please help me to understand the significance of the the 4 planets in 8th house. Guest guest
Dear Zoran Ji, Namaste, Thank you for the reply and the native's Sukra is neecha in Navamsa, and AL is in Simha in Rasi. So does this confirms the Veepreta Yoga occurs of neecha benefic in 6th from Arudha Lagna, giving wealth to the native. Thanks for your help in advance. Guest guest
Dear Rao ji, From what I remember Sani in the 8th gives a long life. Also for a VRY to be existing it has be conjunction of two or more planets. I don't think only one planet can qualify for a VRY. As you all know, I am still a student too, hence I may be wrong too. I have no clue about the other part of the question. I will look forward to the Guru's to correct me. Guest guest
Dear Rao, Try to understand what is a Vipareeta rajoga. As the name suggests, it arises out of contrary results of planetary position than the standard results. So basically it would be present when lord of one Dusthana occupies other Dusthana. A form of VRY also takes place due to debilitated benefic in dusthana. The reason is that lord of dusthana harms the indications of house in which it is placed, as does a debilitated planet.Being in another dusthana what happens is that the bad effects of the occupied dusthana get harmed resulting in good indications of that sthana. Thus Vipareeta Rajyoga arises. As a matter of fact application of the basic principles would indicate this too. But astrologers usually miss thast 2 negatives make a positive, hence specific mention of the yoga.A powerful VRY is caused when two Dusthana lords exchange houses(Parivartana). When Lord of the Dusthana occupoes his own house(which is also dusthana), this is straight forward application of the principle of the planet in own house strengthening the house so, even though results are similar, the term VRY is not used here. As such Saturn owning 8th and being posited there would not qualify for VRY. About 9th and 10th lord conjoining in 8th, this is a weak Dharmakarmadhipati yoga. The yoga comes out with strength when they occupy 9th or 10th house or aspect either of the two houses. 4 planets in a house indicate pravrajyaa yoga. Being in 8th and aspecting 2nd, to me it would suggest a person who has little attachement to wealth for wealth's sake and could also be a bit careless about his health. Of course these are my personal opinions and others might differ. Chandrashekhar.
