Dear Mofie,

There are no inconsistencies… The confusion probably

has stemmed out my previous mail on the subject, which I clarified later. The

Jyotirlingams ruled by different signs are:

ARIES: RAMESWARAM

TAURUS: SOMNATH

GEMINI: NAGESWAR

CANCER: OMKARESHWAR

LEO: GRISHNESHWAR

VIRGO: MALLIKARJUNA

LIBRA: MAHAKALESHWAR

SCORPIO: VAIDYANATH

SCORPIO: VISHWANATH

CAPRICORN: BHIMASHANKAR

AQUARIUS: KEDARNATH

PISCES: TRYAMBAKESHWAR

So Venus gets exalted in Pisces and the Jyotirlingam ruled by Pisces is Tyrambakeswara

which also happen to be the Jyotirlingam for Venus.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused due to my

incorrect previous mail on the subject.

Best Wishes

Sarajit

Om

Krishna Guru

Dear Guru's

& Jyotisha's

I would like to enquire about the below Jyotirlinga's Mantra. Why is that for

Kuja, Sukra and Buda the mantra is not chosen from their exalted rasi? From

what I learn in the list there are 12 jyotirlinga for each 12 rasi

and the mantra for Surya,Guru,Chandra,Shani,Rahu and Ketu is chosen from their

exalted rasi but not for the abovementioned 3 graha's.

Suppose if

someone use the logic to worship the 5th lord of the Dasamsa (say it's Sukra) ,

then the exalted sign of this graha is Meena rasi which is Mallikarjuna but why the mantra use Om

NamasSivaaya NamasTryambakeswaraaya in which Triambakeshwara is the jyotirlinga

associated with Makara rasi which is the exaltation of Kuja? Should the person

use the mantra associated with Meena or Makara rasi?

Thanks in advance.

Dear Sarbani,

Yes there is and thanks for pointing out.

Again a mistake while in haste. Scorpio is written twice by mistake.

Dear

Sarajit,

I

think there is a typo in your list. If I remember correctly, Vishwanath should

be Sagittarius.
