Thanks for your honest and useful reply.

I have a few more related questions.

 

(1) Planets in retrograde motion becomes strong.So will it change the

results?

 

(2) If planets are in marankarak position from different planets like

chandr lagn,ravi lagn etc. then is it proper to apply/extend these rules?

 

(3) Is it applicable to special lagnas like HL,GL etc.

 

(4) If a planet transits its marankarak position,will it give bad results

restricted to its transit period?

 

(5) char karakatwa person(s) face troubles/death/ or separation from native.

But how can we decide if it it is troubles or death or separation?

 

(6) I have seen a slightly different list which gives sun in 5th and budh

in 4th.There is no mention of " marankarak " but since all other positions

are same and also results,I conclude it is marankarak sthan only.Is there

any other authority which says similar things except Sarwarth-Chintamani?

(1) If Maran-karak sthan happens to be own house,will it still destroy

it?

Sarajit: This becomes one of the redeeming factor from the weakness.

 

(2) If Maran-karak grah aspects its own house,will it still destroy it?

Sarajit: No. This shall decrease the damage to the house.

 

(3) If Maran-karak grah is in exchange with another planet, will it

destroy

houses of that planet in place of its own?

Sarajit: No, this shall nullify the effect of Marana Avastha.

 

(4) If Maran-karak grah joins another planet, will it destroy houses of

that planet in place of its own?

Sarajit: No, but the other planet shall also become weaker with

association.

 

(5) Will it give its results only in Narayan dasha or also in other

dashas?

Sarajit: In all dasas. However, I am still trying to understand its

effect in the udu dasas.

 

(6) If Maran-karak grah is also karak for the house(eg. guru as 11th

lord in 3rd house), will it protect its own house?

Sarajit: It would try to, however for such cases, the damage to the

house would be more.

 

(7) what will happen to char karakatwa? will that person(s) face

troubles/death/ or separation from native?

Sarajit: Yes and such things can properly be timed with the dasas.

 

(8) If 3rd(or 5th) house lord is in Maran-karak-sthan then will it

affect all co-borns(or children) or just one?

Sarajit: I am not sure. However, I think, it should be one.

 

(9) what are the results of its other karkatwas? will it remain

unaffected?

Sarajit: The natural and Char karakatva also suffer due to such

position.

 

(10)If Maran-karak grah is also Badhkesh,will it destroy its badhakatva?

Sarajit: No, the nature of the Badahaka shall be very bad.

 

(11)Will it affect yogas involving those houses

(eg.Rajyogas,vipreet-rajyogas, etc.)?

Sarajit: Yes, only after the maturity of the said planet, shall the

yogas bloom

 

(12)what remedial measures can help in this situation and for

Maran-karak grah in general?

Sarajit: Worship the Jyotirlingam associated with the planet in such

sthana. Or if possible just chanting OM NAMAH SIVAYA helps.

 

There are few remedies based on Gems stones which I am not fully aware of.
