Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Narasimha, Lakshmi, and Freedom, et al - On the subject of sins, I wish to add some points: Lakshmi has posed an important question, i.e. whether re-birth occurs due to desire, due to sin, or for whatever other reasons. The English word " Sin " simply means a transgression committed by the soul against others. If others suffer at the hands of someone, then the latter must take birth again in order to suffer the results of such vikarmas, or sins. We also take birth as a result of attachments, and these are represented by the shad-ripus, or six kinds of enemies, and which are represented by the 6th house of the horoscope. If out of attachment, one does harm to oneself, then the repercussions are not as bad as if that person committed crimes against others. Crimes, or transgressions, committed against others, are thus called sins. These are represented by the 8th house astrologically. Now, on the west coast conference this year, Sanjay spoke on the subject of the Punya Chakra, which is the chart cast for the time and place of death of a native. The Punya Chakra invariably shows clearly which types of ripus there are, as well as the sins committed against others for which the native must suffer in a future birth. I have devoted a whole chapter to this subject in my forthcoming book. It is an important subject, as oftentimes we get too idealistic about what kind of future birth a person may have, because we *perceived* that individual to be a good person in their lifetimes, or conversely we perceived him to be a bad person. There are clear astrological guidelines which dispel this kind of excess idealism, and these constitute the study of the Punya Chakra. What is *not* seen about the deceased individual is the inner space or heart, and it is there that shad-ripus lie as well as transgressions against others. Coming back to sins: Very often we perceive of someone as a saint or good person, yet the Punya Chakra shows that he/she has committed sins. Such sins may or may not be known to others. Against whom such sins were committed is indicated by the specific planets in the 8th house of the Punya Chakra. On the other hand, someone may be seen as very low or bad person, yet that individual attains Moksa in the next lifetime. Thus what the senses perceive as a " good " or " bad " person, fall short when the full gamut of the native's actions throughout life is known only to God, who is omniscient. So yes, one takes birth to fulfill a specific mission. Then again, before Moksa or going to higher planes can occur, that person must be purged of the results of maleficent actions committed against others. When the 6th and 8th houses of the Punya Chakra are empty, and when Jupiter makes his aspect to the 8th and 12th houses, then all the sins of the native are forgiven and the path is open to ascension to higher planes. There are many details regarding Punya Chakra that students can learn by acquiring Sanjay's lecture CD's on this subject from the August/west coast conference. Contact Lakshmi Kary for ordering..
