Thank you for asking about my book. The book has been about a year in

progress at this point in time, and is finished, for the most part. I am,

however, doing editing and trying to refine everything so as to ready for

publication. I am hoping that the book is released sometime early this

coming year.

So far as topics: My book started out as a primer on Drig dasa. However,

as the writing continued, I realized that there was a lot of foundational

information that needed to be taught on the varied subject of spirituality

before I could teach Drig dasa. So, the book consists of nine chapters,

and is divided into two parts. The first five chapters (consisting of the

first part) have to do with the origins of creation, much information on

the Atmakaraka and other karakas, Paramatma and Jivatma, the karmas of the

Jivatma, Vedic cosmology as described in ancient texts such as Srimad

Bhagavatam and as it pertains to the horoscope, many yogas and combinations

pertinent to spirituality, Sapta-loka and tala including the past and

future lives by way of Drekkana analysis as well as analysis of the Punya

(death) chart. There is discussion of Bhukta Tithi Sphuta/Rasis as was

done on this list some weeks ago with many illustrations, many guidelines

as to distinguishing features of the charts of saints and advanced

spiritualists, and some other unique things regarding interpretation that

haven't been written about before.

The second half of the book goes into a step-by-step calculation and

interpretation of Drig dasa, with many example charts which show the

accuracy of this dasa system to time spiritual events in a native's

lives. Some unique chart illustrations are given, such as timings when

miracles occurred, Stigmata (mystical bleeding representing the wounds of

Jesus Christ in Christian saints), and psychic healers such as Edgar

Cayce. Finally, I have included a chapter on Vaishnava saints (three in

number, including Sri Srimad A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada), showing

the usefulness of Drig dasa in timing initiation (Diksa), and all other

important events in the lives of such individuals. The concluding chapter

is devoted to the charts of avataras Sri Krsna and Sri Caitanya, making use

of the Kalachakra as a guideline to the delineation of yugas, the purpose

of incarnation of such avataras, and unique features of such charts to

outline Their advent for the establishment of dharma. This is the gist of

it all, although there are many, many details that I couldn't list right

now. Basically, I have attempted to show the fusion between Jyotish, a

Vedanga, and the sacred writings of Bhagavad-gita, Srimad Bhagavatam,

Vishnu Purana, and Padma Purana, among others.

So, it has been a great project, and Sanjay has been very gracious in

encouraging me with this every step of the way. I hope you like it, and

thanks again for asking!

Best wishes,

Robert
