What will be the main effect for a person's chart having his Upapada lord placed in Darapada. The Upapada lord is also Atmakaraka. Does this kind of placement will boost the native's more towards love and passionate sexual relationship or will it try to hinder the native from such activity? Can someone shed some light..... You didn't mention what A7 & UL mutual aspect is, but if it's favourable, it would indicate good compatibility with partner which add to a positive marriage experience. - you'll be attracted to your spouse physically/sexually, and with AK as UL, I would assume in some other ways as well-purpose in life, karmic deeds fulfillment, etc If AK is Lord of UP /along what I said above/that may indicate that marriage will be sought as an important means to fullfilling one's karmic/darmic functions. This chart has UL in the 12th from Arudha lagna that means the native will reject the spouse and the AL also contains Ketu which is second from UL, I dunno what will be the effect if Ketu in the 2nd from UL. Maybe marriage will be short due to a lot misunderstanding (Ketu) and will be full of deception (Rahu in the 8th from UL). Rahu is also AK who owns UL. If Ketu in the UL then one will get a spiritual spouse or an erratic, nagging type of spouse if I am right. The relationship between UL and A7 is 6/8 which I can deduce that the physical/sexual relation will not be harmonious between them in married life, is it so?? So that is a good thing. 2) If the Darapada (A7) is in Kendra or Trikona from the Arudha Lagna, the native will have a natural and good relationship. 3) We have to see, where is the A7 lord is placed with respect to Lagna and also UL and AL relationship. I can go into more detailed analyis, if you provide the birth details. Request Guru's and Learned Members to correct me if I am wrong. As Rao said you should analyze the entire chart. Your analysis based on very important info you extracted is basically correct- no marital bliss, in common understanding of the word, to say the least.
