Guest guest
HARE RAMA KRISHNA ***************** OM KRISHNA GURU *************** OM NAMO NAARAAYANAAYAA ********************** Respected Visti Guruji and other Gurujis and Dear Members! Please correct my answers to Lesson-1 Assignments. Thanks and Regards, PK ....................................................................... 1) Try to define the role of God in your life. Answer: God is omnipresent, omnivalent and omnipotent. He is the creator of this universe and all the animate and inanimate things are just part of his Infinite creation. God has created all these things with his magnificent power. God has created these things with the different amounts of tatwas in different beings. And god has set the goals to every being to achieve satwik nature by leaving the tamasik and rajasik nature and ultimately achieve the brahma gyana (gati) after achieving 100% satwik nature. As we all are the wonderful creation of the God, each of us have the same divinity of the God himself, but in order to perceive the divinity, we need to become satwik first and subsequently attain brahma gyana. Like all the sportsmen have a goal to win and need to follow certain rules, God has set the rules of the universe and human beings to achieve brahma gyana and he guides all of us when we are wandering in distress. 2) What have you done in the past one-year to come closer to God? Answer: Though my past one-year has been very hectic in which I could not do what I actually can do to come closer to God, I have definitely done certain small things that still can be considered as part of list of things that I have tried to reach God. i) As we all have been part of this magnificent creation of god whenever we side track from our spirituality and indulge in materialistic things, we end up with sorrow out of false beliefs whenever any of my near and dear ones has approached me to get consoled or solutions. I tried to console to my level best and I tried to make them realise the importance of spirituality and God. I tried to bring them in the path of spirituality as it is my first and foremost responsibility to help in making the whole world attain the satwik nature and their by brahma gyana, as I am and the whole universe is part of the creation of god. ii) As god has created us with various tatwas nature and the ultimate aim of the human beings is to achieve brahma gyana, which is possibly only by trying to achieve satwik nature as the first step. I tried to remain abstain from ahimsa, be gentle and pure, helping the needy etc. The first and the foremost thing that I failed in the year 2003 is I lost my learning track in the later half of the year and I need to put the double efforts in my Astrological learnings to gain knowledge which I otherwise lost due to the lost time. 3) Which statement is more relevant: a. God is all, or b. All is God Answer: I feel 'God is all' is more relevant as the God is ever existing magnificent power and rest of the universe has been created on his instructions and God himself is present in everything and everywhere. Though the 'All is God' is equally applicable as the God is present in everything which indicates that everything is god, But first one seems to be more valid for me due to the first mentioned reason that God himself has created the universe out of himself which indicates that 'God is all'. 4) How is the role of a Jyotish different from a priest? Answer: The priest is the one whose sole task is to do the service of God all the times and tries to dwell within the God by dedicating his lifetime to the God himself. In a true sense one has to attain the state of priest to attain God. Here I am not writing in terms of poojas, yagnas etc., but in terms of trying to dwell in God and attaining the brahma gyana. And this mental state may not be possible to all the human beings due to the day to day materialistic encounters in this world and their struggle for their livelihood. Jyotish is the one who has attained the mental state of the priest inspite of all the hardships of this materialistic life and who also has attain the higher state of mind to distinguish between the self and non-self and who has the capacity to bring others to the same state of mind. Hence Jyotish is like a doctor (who diagnoses the decease and prescribes the medicine as well) guides others to show the correct path to attain the ultimate goal of the soul.
