Dear narasimha,

As I was going through files section in

vedic astrology list, I came across a chakra-zodiac

relationship in chakra\zo_chak1.gif & zo_chak2.gif. I

have 2 questions on ur opinion (zo_chak2.gif).

1. Why do u assign ida/pingala to odd/even signs and

not vice-versa, while noting that the female/male

nature of ida/pingala is only for differentiation as

opposites/polarity. This polarity principle is not

related to the literal meaning of the words

female/male or any meaning whatsoever of the

oddity/even-ness of the signs? Please elucidate ur

opinion.

Just a note, is it possible to assign permanent

polarities to: u and ur mirror image - except if u

think that u are " more real " than the other, when,

apparently, u could think of urself as the more

active(or passive) participant of the two image system

and be assigned pingala/active polarity, by urself to

one of the two images - more easily than otherwise -

followed by similar self-assignment by the other image

in the system leading to a polarity assignment for a

certain period of time!

2. Why did you change the order of signs in the

KalaChakra to fit a certain preference for Sahasraradi

chakra rulership? Who is this except shiva himself to

do this?
