Guest guest
HARE RAMA KRISHNA ***************** OM KRISHNA GURU *************** OM NAMO NAARAAYANAAYAA ********************** Respected Visti Guruji and other Gurujis and Dear Members! Please correct my answers to Lesson-3 Assignments. It was a tough lesson for me as I had to search for the various information before answering these questions. Still they seem to be not upto the level as there is lot of scope for improvement. I am looking for all your valuable comments and learn more. Thanks and Regards, PK ...................................................................... 1. Why do the five planets have lordship of two houses whereas the luminaries have ownership of one house only? Answer: Sun represents 'Atama' and Moon represents 'Manas' (Mind) which are the two important things that bind the 'Jeevaatma' with 'Paramaatma'. Atma and Manas can guide the other jeevamsa to get rid of the tamasik/rajasik nature and develop satwik nature so that Jeevatma merge with the Paramtama. Hence even thow they are the lords of the two horas, 'Uttaraayana' & 'Dakshninayana', in the 12 division of the Bha chakra, each of the luminaries have retained the lordships to only to the sigle house so that other planets can own the other houses whom they can guide. 2. Determine the ayana of the planets in the horoscope of a native born on 7th August 1963 at 9:15 PM IST at 21N28, 84E01 (Sambalpur India) Answer: Uttarayana Planets: Moon(19Aq58), Jupiter(26Pi08), Rahu (25Ge45), Sun(21Cn04) and Venus(14Cn55). Dakshinayana Planets: Mercury(13Le22), Mars(13Vi40), Ketu (25Sg45) and Saturn(26Cp50). 3. Determine the Ayana of the Moon in your horoscope and also the days after your birth when the Moon changed the ayana. Answer: I have taken a sample horoscope to answer this question. Date of Birth: 01 of June, 1977. Time of Birth: 6:30 am Place of Birth: Hyderabad/India. (78E30, 17N20) Ayana of the Moon at the time of Birth: Dakshiyanayana No of days after birth when the Moon changed its ayana (Approx): 5 days 18hrs, 09 minutes. 4. Attempt to explain the Mantra given inside the Bha Chakra. Answer: Figure 3A an Figure 5 of the Lesson #03 have the same manthra 'AUM HAUM JUM SAH' where as Figure 3C has the manthra 'AUM HREEM SHREEM KLEEM'. 'AUM' Beeja is the moola manthra (also known as pranava naadaa) which itself represents Brahma, Vishni And Shiva together. Beejakshara 'A' represents Brahma with Rajas Guna who is responsible for creation. Beejakshara 'U' represents Vishnu with Satwa Guna who is responsible for preservation. Beejakshara 'M' represents Shiva with Tamas Guna who is responsible for destruction. 'AUM HAUM JUM SAH' manthra - Though I tried to find the importance of the beejas of these manthra I could succeed only in understanding it partially, What I can understand from the first manthra is that, in 'HAUM' beeja Ha is Siva. Au is Sadasiva. The Nada and Bindu mean that which dispels sorrow hence this beeja indicate the destruction of sorrow. The 'JUM' beeja represents the sadasiva in the form of Mrityunjaya by chanting this beeja it invokes inner protection (Is it preserving nature?) and destroys mental and physical sufferings. (Also, if I consider 'JUM' beeja for the preserving characteristics then by extrapolating 'SAH' can we say it represents the beeja for the creation?). Please forgive me for applying my own knowledge as I could not find much of the information about these beejas. 'AUM HREEM SHREEM KLEEM' manthra - 'HREEM' beeja represents the Maha Lakshmi/Shri Shakti who indicates the Satwa Guna. 'KLEEM' beeja represents Maha Kali/Nila Shakthi who represents Tamas Guna. By chanting 'Kleem' beeja representing Nila shakthi (who forms yoga with Shiva), one can get rid of the Tamasik guna. 'SHREEM' beeja represents Maha Saraswati/Bhu Shakti who represents Rajas Guna. By chanting 'Shreem' beeja representing Bhu Shakti one can get rid of the Rajasik guna. And by chanting 'Hreem' beeja representing Shri Shakti (who forms yoga with Vishnu), one can develop Satwik Guna and there by soul can reach its goal of attaining God. (I tried to extrapolate the defination of 'Shreem' beejas from 'Hreem' beeja and 'Kleem'beeja. Please forgive for my mistakes and correct me with wherever I am wrong). 5. Derive the order of the weekdays from the order of the seven Dwipa. Is there any correlation between the speed of the planets and the seven Hora's? Answer: Somehow I could not able to correlate the order of the weekdays from the order of the seven dwipa, also I could not able to correleate between the speed of the planets and the seven horas. If I try to list the weekdays in the order of the seven dwipa I got the order as given below but I could not correlate this order to the actual order of the weekdays. Order of the Week days from the order of the Seven Dwipa. a) Chandra Dweepa – formed by Moon - MON DAY b) Budha Dweepa – formed by Mercury - WEDNES DAY c) Sukra Dweepa – formed by Venus - FRI DAY d) Surya Dweepa – formed by Sun - SUN DAY e) Mangala Dweepa – formed by Mars - TUES DAY f) Guru Dweepa – formed by Guru - THURS DAY g) Shani Dweepa – formed by Shani - SATUR DAY Also Order of the Seven Dwipa are also in the order of the speed of the respective planets. 6. What are the Drisya and Adrisya signs? What do they imply? Answer: Signs from the ascendant to descendent in the zodiacal order are called 'Drishya' Signs. As the name indicates 'Drisya', these are the sings which are seen above the horizon. These sings indicates the matters that have already happened i.e., about the past. Signs from the descendant to ascendant in the zodiacal order are called 'Adrisya' sings and as the name indicates 'Adrisya', these are the signs which are not yet seen above the horizon. These sings indicate the matters related to the things that are not yet seen/happened (future). ......................................................................
