The synopsis of his current situation is:- “It makes me very vulnerable towards hidden enemies and higher authorities. Right now I am facing very severe problems” The native requested me to lend a helping hand. So I am making an attempt to analyse the case and request the learned Gurus/Jyotishas to point out any mistake or anything that I missed out. The native has Taurus lagna with lagna & 6th lord, Venus in 3rd house along with 2nd and 5th lord, Mercury retrograde. 3rd house is aspected by Jupiter retrograde in 9th house. Ju is a malefic for Ta lagna, being the owner of 8th and 11th lord. Also for Ta, badhakastana is Cp and debilitated Ju is in badhakastana. Thus Ju has the potential to create troubles as he is in badhakastana. Currently, he is running Ju-Ve Vimsottari dasha. So his troubles may have started after June’03. According to the natives description of the troubles, we should look to the 6th house matters. Ve is the 6th lord placed in 3rd showing that he has to make a lot of efforts to progress in his career. However since it is conjoined 2nd and 5th lord, it shows that it shall be with some gains and promotion also. Karaka for 6th house, Sa (who is 9th lord as well as badhakesh) is placed in 2nd house along with Sun and Ketu. This is indicating that if badhakesh related troubles have to manifest, a lot of money may have been spent in these troubles as well. Note that Ra & Ke are debilitated as well. Finally Ju is the MK showing that troubles may come from female colleagues. Since Ra, the PiK is debilitated and placed in dusthana, there could be troubles from superiors also. In D-6, 6th lord is placed in Pisces lagna and karaka for 6th house in 2nd house again.Lagna lord and 10th lord, Ju is debilitated in Cp along with 3rd and 8th lord, Ve and 2nd & 9th lord Ma. Capricorn shows up as an important theme here: current D-6 Narayana Dasha is that of Le-Cp! Le is 6th house in D-6. Thus the remedy for the problems is either to strengthen the 6th lord (as well as lagna lord) or the karaka for 6th house, which incidentally is a yogakaraka (lord of 9th and 10th). Thus the wearing of a blue sapphire or neelam on the ring finger is advised. The native can also recite any prasiddhi mantra for Venus additionally. I did not understand your statement saying " Ve is the 6th lord placed in 3rd showing that he has to make a lot of efforts to progress in his career " . I did not understand the relation between Career and Venus being 3rd and 6th lords. Is it not that career is seen from 10th house/its lord etc? Can you please explain me in detail regarding why and how this combination and placement makes the native to put lot of efforts to progress in the career. Approaching from Ishtadevata point of view, AK is Moon which is placed in navamsa lagna of Vi along with Me. Ishtadevata is shown by Vishnu form of Venus (lord of 12th to karakamsa). Considering that Saturn is badhakesh as well, would it not be better to prescribe remedy for strengthening Venus instead? The ishtadevata mantra is ||Om Namo Bhagavate Parasuramaaya|| which is 13 aksharas. Sarbani said that all Ishtadevata mantras should be 12 aksharas preferably. So should we consider ||Om Namo Bhagavate Hrishikeshaaya|| which is 12 aksharas (Sanjay, is this the reason you prescribed this for Hema?). In case there is no planet, then you take the lord of that house. Now Karakamsha is in Virgo, as AK Moon is placed there. The 12th house from that is Leo. Now where did you get Venus as lord of the 12th ? The planet placed in the 12th house from karakamsha is Rahu. Rahu represents the Varaha avatar. So the mantra is Om Namo Bhagavate Srisukaraya. As far as Venus is concerned we do not use the mantra for Parasuram, as he is not worshipped. Instead we use Hrishikeshaya, as that is the name with which Lakshmi worshipped Vishnu. So if Venus is the planet representing the ishta devata in any chart then the mantra preferably is Om Namo Bhagavate Hrishikeshaya.
