Dear Sudeep,

Thats a very sad scene..poor guy.

Let me take a quick look at this. The point is that K N rao may not be aware of the Dwisaptati sama dasa which is applicable to charts when the lagna lord is in the 7th house. Now, the child has aries lagna with mars in the 7th house. so this dasa is applicable. KNR used vimsottari dasa and perhaps also KNR Chara dasa (not Parasara). You will find both versions of Chara Dasa in the J Hora software. Vimsottari can also be used but one has to be careful. Lets see what each dasa has to say.

He will be under severe mental stress and shall feel very angry and depressed. Ketu and Mars placed in the 10th house from Arudha lagna are also not good for reputation and image and the native may suffer from some unwanted company and friends who will cause him to waste more time rather than put his efforts in studies. he is a very very kind hearted and good boy but during this phase, he is to suffer. now if someone missed this yoga, then the reading would go haywire..it can happen to anyone and it is not right to blame KNR keeping his age in mind. At that age many people become very forgetful.

In the D24 chart, the Ketu is in the third house of short journeys and is also the lord of the 9th house showing some technical college education near the home town/parents. The second lord Mars is also the 9th lord and is aspecting the 12th house of foreign stay. So prima facie, the higher education of the masers level is to be done in a foreign country. If I assume a 4 year college course thent his would be around 2006. Now in 2006 Venus dasa comes and he will go to a foreign land, have higher studies (masters level) related to management as Venus indicates management studies and is in the 2nd house in the siddhamsa chart. He will also marry in a foreign land or have a wife from a foreign land/residing there or having some strong link there..see Venus as the 7th lord in the 9th house. Wish him the best and tell him to sinceely keep studying and wait for this dasa to end for his prime time of 20 years of Venus dasa.

The correct dasa to apply in this chart is the Dvisaptati sama dasa and this has the Mercury dasa starting from 2001 showing that since 2001 the fortunes have turned for the boy. mercury is the malefic 3 & 6 lord in the 8th house with the 10th lord Saturn...Viparita rajayoga shall function later between 2005 April to 2006 June.

Whatever you wrote are correct.Now I wanted to write some more about the chart given.I am not against any eminent Astrologer.Shri K.N.Rao might have given the prediction as per his Chara Dasha.Now here I wanted to do a short analysis as per Nadi Techniques studied from Shri R.G.Rao.

Now Guru is the Jeeva Karaka and so the sign where Guru is placed is to be considered.Here Guru is the native.It is in Makara ruled by Shani.Makara is in Southern direction and its lord Shani ( Karma Karaka ) and Budha ,the Vidya Karaka are in Vrischika which is in North direction.So planets in South will aspect planets in North and vice versa.So both Guru and Shani,Budha aspect each other and as a result Guru's neechattwa gets cancelled.Also Chandra who is in his own sign of Karka aspects Guru.Now due to this directional aspects,the boy will have education pertaining to engineering.Now we have to see the planets in the next and previous houses of Guru as well as Budha.In 12th from Guru,Surya and Shukra are placed.Shukra is combust but Surya is backing Guru indicating his father supports him in all his activities.Now again consider Budha and Shani also.Surya and Shukra are 2nd to them and Kuja and Ketu are behind to these planets.Chandra who is in North

direction also join with Shani and Budha which indicates the boy is very good in drawing and is handsome also in look.In the previous house of Shani and Budha,Kuja and Ketu are obstacle creating planets and Ketu has crossed Kuja's longitude and so Kuja is free from Ketu's hold.But still he gets aspect from Rahu with Mandi.Now these planets aspect Surya and Shukra and this means there are some enemies who try to trouble the boy's father but as Surya is very strong being in the middle of the Rashi ,he overcomes all the trouble.Now coming to the point of education,Budha who is with Shani who aspects his own house,the boy's education will be near to his birth place only.In 2003 between 15th of May and 8th of June,when the results are out for his examination,transit Guru was in Karka and his Navamsha was in Dhanu.That means Transit Guru was so strong ,which was aspecting his natal Guru ,natal Shani and Budha which clearly indicates the boy passed with very high marks and got the

seat in Engineering college.This year he may be facing some difficulties in his studies which will overcome by August 28th onwards.Here I have not gone through any other chart other than Rashi Kundali.Now as Guru is aspected by Chandra from his own place,the boy has blessings of Mother Saraswati and it is advised to worship HER as he may get difficulties in his studies during Guru's transit over Tula Rashi during Sep.2005 to 2006 and Shani will be in Karka Rashi in Jala Tattwa Rashi and is a bad transit due to sadesathi.

Now coming to Chara Dasha of Shri K.N.Rao,Mithuna Rashi Dasa was running from 30-12-1998 and will run till 31-12-2003.Under this Dasha,Karka Antara dasa was running from 28-2-2003 till 1-8-2003 and this is the time the boy appeared for the exam and got good marks and got seat in Engineering College near to his birth place.Now Karka may be 2nd to Mithuna but Karka is the 4th house and its lord Chandra is in his own place and Budha-the Mithuna Rashi Dasa lord and Shani are in the same direction as Chandra,so his education will be near to his birth place only.I hope this clears all misunderstandings.
