Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Namaste Guru's and Learned Members, While reading the Book: "Nakshatras" by Sri Subhakaran, I have come accross, various Nakshatras and thier Presiding Dieties and their Caste. For Pushyami Nakshatra, the Presiding Diety is "Brihaspati" and the caste mentioned was Kshatriya. I thought Bribahaspati is a Brahmin, hence I got a doubt. So can you please educate me, on why I am getting confusion with this. Thanks for your help in Advance. RegardsRaghunadha Rao Search - Find what you’re looking for faster. Guest guest
::Om namo bhagavate vasudevaya:: Dear Raghunadha, The caste is of the *NAKSHATRA* and not of the deity. It is possible that a kshatriya can worship Brihaspati..one like Indra does this.
